Been getting mixed results on the strength of the standard 44s in the base sport,Willy's,and overland models. I'm not concerned with gearing since I plan to go to 4.56 in the future. My main concern is strength compared to the max tow. I'm wanting to run 35s and haul camping gear and my roof top tent. Mainly maintained forest roads but occasionally some fairly difficult fire roads. Don't want to throw money into something that won't handle what I want to do with it.
P.S. I was unaware of the max to package when I bought mine.

35s aren’t much tire for any gladiator.
Strength wise you’ll be just fine.

Unless, of course, you subscribe to “when in doubt, throttle out!”
Or if you like hitting the skinny pedal when bouncing up against a rock.

But that’ll break almost anything, eventually.
