Probably your driving style. Has a lot to do with it. Be careful, though, I have had a couple members tell me it is impossible to get the mileage I report, questioning my veracity, I suppose. The old scenario "if I haven't experienced what you are reporting, it can't be true."

I know. My only point was that no, the JT isn't an economy car, but compared to previous Jeeps, there is a reason to buy it for it's fuel savings.

Well, that depends on your point of view. One reason (out of many) that the JT is my first Jeep, is the great mileage it gets, compared to all Jeep prior to the JL. And, of course, it also depends on how much mods one does. And how you drive it.

I live in Florida where insurance rates are above average. In addition, my JT is insured as a business vehicle, so limits are higher. My insurance on the JT is about $1000 every six months.
