Probably your driving style. Has a lot to do with it.
Be careful, though, I have had a couple members tell me it is impossible to get the mileage I report, questioning my veracity, I suppose. The old scenario "if I haven't experienced what you are reporting, it can't be true."
Well, that depends on your point of view. One reason (out of many) that the JT is my first Jeep, is the great mileage it gets, compared to all Jeep prior to the JL.
And, of course, it also depends on how much mods one does. And how you drive it.
I have an Overland so plastic bumper. I got the Mopar light brackets that bolt directly to the frame on each side. Then put a light bar of my own design between the Mopar brackets. Everything as solid as you could ask for.
Here is what the brackets look like.

$1495 is their standard destination charge, regardless of how far it actually goes. It is a fixed fee.
Transit takes longer than one might imagine based on distance. It includes time sitting in the railyard at Toledo, loading on a unit train (all the railcars have same cargo and all going to...
Sorry, but I am new to GPS and I don't even use a smart phone. I did do some research before buying the Overlander. A lot of people on various forums said get Gaia on a tablet = a lot cheaper. But from what I understand the tablet has to have a satellite chip or it will just depend on cell...
You did not say if you were looking to get a manual in the JT, but probably not, as you say the Wrangler is a stripped-down Sport, and you are considering getting adaptive cruise, which would not be indicative of a stripped-down model.
I ordered my JT to get exactly everything I wanted, and...
Well, I got the basic idea from you (running the BC-35 forward).
I was very surprised when the camera screen could be activated by just turning on the power, but when I thought about it, it is configured to work that way if you use it as back-up and wire it to the back-up lights, which of...
I am in Naples. I talked to Galeana in Ft. Myers but eventually just ordered from Naples CDRJ. I had to order to get what I wanted, and figured I'd stay local, since I had bought from them before. I bought when "Employee pricing for all" was in effect and that is what I got, no more no less. No...
Still learning how to use all the features of the Overlander, but really liking it. It is one reason I did not spring $1800 extra for the 8.4" radio.
Now I have a Garmin BC-35 backup camera configured as a forward-looking trailcam. I wired the camera to one of my Aux. switches. A neat thing...
I live in Florida where insurance rates are above average. In addition, my JT is insured as a business vehicle, so limits are higher. My insurance on the JT is about $1000 every six months.
