Totally understandable.
I am wondering if there’s some way down the line if kbvoodoo and company can fabricate a front/rear hatch/door that could enclose the rack in some way?
Something like what rebel off road recently released:
Thanks. Yeah I’ll probably stick with the shops recommendations. $1k for something that I plan on enjoying and driving for hopefully the next 15 years is nothing.
Looking to install a 1.5 Teraflex level kit on my Sport S. I know the majority of you would encourage me to do it at home, but I'd rather pay a little more for a pro shop (and well reputable) to do it. They also recommended new shocks so they quoted me Bilstein B8 5100s:
Teraflex 1.5

(I don't mean to be the officall announcer for KBVoodoo, but I'm stoked to share about my purhcase)
After doing months of researching racks (especially those compatible with tonneau covers), I've finally narrowed down the bed rack choice for my JT Sport S- And it's a brand new KBVooDoo bed rack...
Kind of a cool thing, but how durable is it if something sharp inside comes into contact with it and it pops?
I wish there was a company that made a hybrid bed rack / topper that you could add panels for complete inside coverage, but easily remove. (And it'd be nice if it would look good).
Oh well that’s a little more interesting to me then! I’m looking for a rack that can support my tri fold. I know it’s rare for many racks to allow all of the panels to open. But if I could at least raise the first panel to a certain extent, my interest level has gone up!
Thanks for informing.
I’m-wondering - why can’t the very first panel at least be flipped open up until it hits either the cross bar or uprights? Does it lock the tonneau somehow
Loving the rack but I would hate to be unable to at least do that with my hard tri fold.
Thanks for your time.
Sorry for the bump - but today I tried to squeeze out a "full" tank and I had the low fuel light come on at about 30 miles left.
I got down to "Low Fuel" warning with an estimated 20miles to go.
I pumped 17.47 gallons into my tank.
I got about 16.7mpg average from the math - so I for sure...
Currently continuing to review and research -
It seems that the most compatible racks with a hard tri fold come from:
Max Modular 18" rack: https://www.max-modular.com/jeep-gladiator-bed-racks-1/max-modular-18-high-jt-aluminum-bed-rack
Does anyone know anything about the XTR1 Bed Rack...
I'm one of many that is looking for that perfect setup with a bed rack and a secure hard/tri fold tonneau.
I have the low profile RC tri folding tonneau and am satisfied with how it operates, protects, and secures my gear.
I'm now in search for a rack that will be able to me the ability to...
