Walked out from work this evening in 19 degree weather.
Turned the Jeep on and it seemed to have stuttered like it was about to lose power at idle and I saw the little red lightning bolt icon (I thought it was blinking but now I can't remember). It appeared the RPM meter was bouncing a bit at...
A little update:
Instead of ordering those 5/8" plugs (which the ones they now sell some say don't fit as well) - I decided to use some extra rubber/felt bumper that I had from our Roomba - and could a small piece that basically fit the distance between the dash storage tray and voila - it...
Bump -
Just had this issue driving home from picking up my trail cams yesterday here in cold and now winter-wonderland WI.
I had the front defrost on high - but the corners of my windshield kept getting CAKED with ice. Felt the air - and it was all coming from the center of the defrost...
Well I think I may have figured it out:
I reformated to NTSF.
Instead of dragging my itunes music folder, I clicked into the music folder and moved all of the folders with the listed artist.
It used to be:
Music/Itunes/Itunes media/Music - and I would drag that music folder to USB.
But now...
Yeah I just checked, mine is up to date.
Hmm.... I could easily just buy a smaller size USB flash drive/stick but I'm a music junky and I selfishly want to have it all and figure out how to do this like others have.
I initially tried exfat which had the same results.
does anyone here think I should just leave my Jeep on and let Uconnect try to index 70gb of music? How long should that take?
Ah.
The format are primarily .mp3 with some .aac.
I did try a small flash drive with both extensions and they were able to load and be indexed.
I still can't understand how some folks are using 128GB flash drives are 1TB HDD/SSD's and being able to have uconnect index the files.
I have...
Yeah still no luck. The USB plays one song and is forever loading an index list.
I can’t tell if it’s loading it when the Jeep is off or if I should keep it on acc mode and let it load the artist and such for a long stretch…
How did folks get 128GB to work in Fat32 mode?
Well I picked up a 128gb sandisk from office depot.
Loaded all of my itunes library ana plugged it into the center console USB.
It was able to read the USB flash drive, but only plays the first song.
It does say it's building browse list and it could take some time due to the size of the...
Hey gang,
I've been doing some research and I'm finding conflicting posts on how big of a USB stick we can use for playing music in one of the USB ports of our Jeeps.
I've seen people comment that 32GB is max, but I've also read folks who have used SSD/HD's with 500+GB working.
I tried my SSD...
