Following a thread about increasing fuel mileage, I put on AFE CAI and AWE exhaust on my 2020 JT Rubicon. I have not noticed any increase in mileage and if there was an HP increase, it is negligible. That certainly doesn't mean others have done better but would I do it again, probably not...
I personally have found disconnecting the sway bar of our 2020 Gladiator Rubicon provides for a better ride on most trails, not smooth but better. We also have 37's and a 3 1/2" MetalCloak GameChanger lift which also helps
As previously mentioned, tire pressure makes a big difference, not only...
It’s easy to get wrapped up in conspiracy theories, especially with big tech that gathers immense amount of data which is monetized and government that continues to gather more as well. Substantial opportunity for what I would call, abuse.
I was not aware that this device could possibly be...
Like others have suggested, I don’t believe 4.11 is enough change. I have 37’s and have gone with 4.88. On relatively flat roads I normally am in 7th or 8th. With 4.11’s I was in 5th, 6th and maybe 7th, hitting 8th only down hill.
If I did it again with 37’s I’d go 4.88 at a minimum. With...
Out of curiosity, what "jump box" do any of you use? I'm looking for something to carry, as well, but want to make sure it's one with lots of capacity ... for other potential vehicle use.
When I put 37’s on, with the stock Rubicon 4:10 gears, I rarely hit 8th gear on open road, almost always bouncing between 6th and 7th. With 37’s and 4:88, it spends much more time in 8th on open road. Shift points seem to be much better with the 4:88 gearing for playing on the trails, as well.
i just finished reading this entire thread on the nits people don’t like. I kept thinking “yeah, I don’t like that either”.
That said, I do love the Gladiator! It’s like a big go cart and we’re now starting to do some more trial riding and rock climbing (pretty mild at this point but we’re...
Guess I'm wondering what the big deal is, seems like a lot of gimme, gimme, gimme being put forth here! That said, I'm old, from a few generations past ... guess I'm becoming and old curmudgeon!
I have a 2020 Rubicon Gladiator and have done a number of mods. Those did include swapping out stock tires for 37’s and later changing the 4:10 gearing out for 4:88. With both of theses changes the numbers were updated in the ECM with no issues. I have a SuperChips TrailDash 2 which was used...
Have had our 2020 about 1 1/4 years. Like you, nothing in the mail. Maybe they lost our addresses? Checked with Jeep Cares ... no joy there either. Sigh ...
You nailed the diagnosis right of the bat, bus issue. I fully understand the use of main busses sharing information across multiple units/computers in the system, I used to work on avionics busses. Certainly makes a lot of sense from multiple perspectives as these machines becomes more...
Even though the gent that has been doing the upgrades for me is the consummate professional and has been very careful and attentive throughout, my initial concern was very similar to what you stated. Compared to some of the other issues I've read about, I was very lucky. From what I can...
Well, finally getting to some of the upgrades that were presented throughout this thread and for which I had high hopes. We’ll see, I guess.
AWE exhaust is on, louder than I expected but told it doesn’t drone so loud inside to be an issue. Had Holly CAI ordered but still not in. Gent doing the...
