I'm with you ... 10% is not much of an incentive. What even torques me off more is that I ordered $400 worth of molle panels only to see the 10% off one or two days later. SIgh ... bad planning on my part!
Iām interested in what folks here would suggest the gearing should be for 37x13.50ās on Rubicon Gladiator with V6 gas and auto trans. With the stock gears, rarely do I get into 8th for any duration on the highway, unless very flat or small downhill gradient. Also, plan on playing some...
Took a look at this jack, looks like a great one, especially for the shop. I wonder if you could use a clevis or safety couple pin (like used with trailer hitch) to mount the handle. Could then easily remove handle and mount both pieces, jack base and handle, on Molle panel. Even if I don't...
That is very impressive! Without the pictures, it wouldāve been hard to image all the gear you were able to pack along the sides, leaving all the room between the wheel wells open. That really helps ... just what I needed to see. Thanks for sharing. Iām going to see about installing a similar...
After the other input then seeing your setup, Iāve sorta come full circle (Safe Jack to jack stand/bottle combo to Pro Eagle). Now, again thinking Safe Jack General. Not that I think itās the best jack, but from the space stand point. I really like your set up and use of Molle panels. Where did...
Thanks for the response. In the Safe Jack video I viewed, after adding a number of extensions, it looks like there was some looseness which could cause some off balance when using at the longer extension lengths. Is this what youāre referring to? In my case, it wouldnāt be for normal use, just...
Folks, my wife and I are getting ready to take off with the motorhome pulling the Gladiator Rubicon and Iām trying to get accessories we really should have off road. Have a compressor installed, straps, recovery ropes, shackles, snatch blocks, etc, and now looking for a jack kit of some sort...
How does it act with the original gears? I just got done putting on 37ās and Iāve heard both ways, leave as is or change gears. Weāll do some off roading but canāt imagine us doing anything extreme. Trying to understand the benefits of gear change versus leaving as is.
Quick update on my choice or tires. Iād gone with the 37x13.50R20 Milestar Patagonia MT Tires. Choice was made because of supposedly smooth and quiet ride.
After getting it back I put on some highway miles. Around 50 mph Iād start to feel the beginning of throbbing normally found with...

Personally, Iāve only towed using base plates. I have seen others whoāve added connections (some replacing the tow hooks) for their specific towbar directly to heavy duty bumpers as youāve asked about. There should be no reason it wonāt work as long as the bumper is very solid, itās rated...
TJDAVE,
Thanks for the input. We towed a JK as well. Like yours, our 2017 Unlimited had a lift and 35ās. No problems for the 3+ years we had and towed it.
We purchased the JT in Fl, had it outfitted with BlueOx baseplate and wiring and towed it back to WI with no issues, as well. The tow...
Ok .... itās finally gone into the shop for lift, shocks, tires, wheels, rock lights, winch, and Amp Research Powersteps. Iām waiting until thatās complete to see how much clearance I have getting into the garage for a top of windshield mounted light bar. Instead of long rectangular led light...
