Thanks. Post Army, I've now been doing this line of work for nearly 25 years; CISO for the last ~10-15. Stressful, exciting and with great compensation as you noted. If all goes well, I hope to "retire" in ~2 years and buy an RV park for the next and possibly final phase of my career. Married 29...
LED Light bar on order as well as a new front custom grill. The wife decided that I mod'd the JT so much, that I should own/keep it. So, off to the dealership we went and bought her a new JL. We now have HIS & HER jeeps!
Would appear a lip-mount underhood might do the trick, but I do worry about paint damage:

Seems there's no metal on/around the hood. Nowhere. No place to mount my magnetic antenna for HAM radio + amp. Suggestions appreciated. Don't really want to mount this on my bumper, though that too is all aluminum..

I have had zero issues with the OBD2 port and a good connection to the FlashCal..
Two times in a row now where temps in the low 20's, go for a short drive and find that for a brief moment, I have NO power steering. Had this happen on a curve over the weekend and I was sure glad no other traffic on the road as I would have collided with any vehicles in the lane to my right..
Trip report for our Kanab ATV & Jeep excursion!
So, for day 1, the weather mostly held, though RUT's bike didn't! ;) We got in around 21 miles before his right/front brake system just disappeared. I'm sure he'll share more info.
