  1. New JT Gladiator Steering Issue TSB 08-074-20 (for "Improved Steering Feel")

I went out, told them about the recall. Gave the TBS number. Nate looked it up. Said well I know you've already did your homework( I've know him for 15 years. ) and we'll order the parts and get you scheduled. The tech walked in then (I've known him for 30 years.) Nate showed him the TSB. Mitch...
  2. Air Filter

Pretty sure the K&N has a thicker seal which is harder to seal back up.
  3. K&N filter

Well have you? I was surprised how deep the pleats are. K&N is for semi performance street cars, not a 3.6 N/A engine.
  4. Parking not straight

I just lower my drivers side mirror. Fixed.
  5. Cheap and great sounding exhaust mod.

IMO.........6 poppers should be driven and not heard.
  6. How to spot a Mall Crawler

It's their Jeep and their money. Who cares. My Gladiator will never have mud tires, never have the top off and will never be "mudded" for the heck of it. I got rear springs coming to lower the rear end!!! When the stock Brigestone Dueler H/T's wear out, I'm putting on Michelin LTX M/S2's. Might...
  7. SYNERGY Track bar installed......UPDATE: Corrected 90% of the dead zone steering issues and highway wobble

The real question is; Is there anybody out there that knows how to properly adjust the steering box? It seems to me that alone would fix most of the problem. All the other "fixes" mask the problem to me.
  8. K&N filter

Have you looked at the factory air filter??? I don't know how you would improve on it. Nice spaced deep pleats.
  9. 5W30

A 830HP race engine is not going to have the same internal clearances of a street engine and most likely a dry sump oil system to specially lube certain parts of the engine. Oil that's 265° is thin enough not to drag going thru bearings, even 15W50. So to me you can't compare a race engine to a...
  10. Dome light & rear brake light on cab

The bed light is on the headlight switch. It's the bottom light figure. Push that and bed lights will come on. Top light figure is the fog lights.
  11. 5W30

This post was on Bob Is The Oil Guy. Thought you all would like to read it. Nice! As an former Pentastar design engineer I am slightly bias but the engine is really high quality. Few points from the development using tens of millions of dollars in analysis and testing regarding the oil and...
  12. 5W30

    Anybody running 5W30 synthetic oil???
  13. Can this stock piece between the fender and bumper be removed?

The cutouts won't fit your non-cutout bumper. The steel bumper itself is different. I know.......I ordered the cutouts, the piece between the grill and bumper (it has different sides) and it would not fit period. Why??? Why??? Would Jeep make 2 different steel bumpers that are behind the plastic...
  14. Post up your cold air intakes and experience? Looking for better mpg

Less surface area than the factory one. I'll keep the OEM filter. You stomp on the loud pedal and it immediately revs to 6000 RPM it's not restricted.
  15. Busted back window

So would opening the back "port hole" when the front tops are off help this air pressure thing? Or not?
  16. F&F 9 1/32 gladiator

That top is just like my top. Permanently on. Maybe the T-Tops. I like my clean leather interior.
  17. Jeep Straight 6 Long Block in a JT

I like the Javelin in the background.
  18. Suspension advice to deal with squatting while towing a 4300 pound trailer?

I was, am, looking to "lower" the rear of my Gladiator. I like it the way it is, stock, but the rear is 1.5" too high for me. I pulled the stock Jeep springs out to see if I could cut a coil, you can't, wrong end on spring. So........I had lowered the rear of my RAM 1500 short bed regular cab...
  19. Would you pay monthly for your heated seats to work?

No. I would put ads in newspapers about what Jeep was doing.
  20. 2wd spider gears turning?

    Anybody?????
