Eh, IMO, there are multiple types of JT buyers:
Die hard Jeepers
Outdoor adventurers
People needing a decently priced 4wd for practical reasons
People wanting a vehicle that retains value
People wanting something that's got a ton of aftermarket options
People just wanting something fun to go...
Not to be a "Debbie Downer", but I'd never get under a vehicle that is being held up by a Harbor Freight jack (or most jacks for that matter). Invest in some good jack stands, as a precaution. We have a friend who's brother was killed while working under a car that was only held up by a jack...
Funny you should make that comparison- I have a number of different “micro” pistols for conceal carry purposes: Glock, Sig, Ruger, etc. and my “go to” is one of my Rugers…. The other funny thing is that I have never been interested in H&K, even when offered a fantastic deal. To each their own...
just looked and found my earlier post about overall height:
“…..2020 Rubi with the 3.5" Rough Country Lift and 37" KO2s and my highest measurement is right at 76.5".
As far as the stabilizer goes, it’s decent. A little “subjective” when you are installing it, but I feel my JTR rides and...
To answer your questions:
1- yes, that is the kit with N3 shocks
2-I posted the actual height in another earlier thread, but I can tell you that I can pull my JTR into my garage. It’s close, but it clears. I’ll try to get a measurement later today, if I have time.
3- The only thing I did at the...
I know there are a lot of people that object to RC kits, but I've had 3 kits from from them, with ZERO issues. Never once have I had someone tell me they had a bad experience first hand, it's always "...I heard about someone...." or "...a buddy of mine told me...." I currently have the RC 3.5"...
I'm sure the aluminum body will. I hope your JT is a diesel- when I start approaching 100K clicks on the odometer, I'm out before the sixth digit rolls over. This motor ain't the 2.5L or the 4.0L.....
I bet it will. I don't have that brand, but I fit a 37 under mine. The actual measurement was 36.5, and went in with no issues.
My 37s are BFG K02s and the spare is a Hankook Dynapro (because of price), FYI
Mine is the Alpine, so it sounds like improvement across the board. I think some may be expecting a magical change in sound, which isn't going to happen with a $250 upgrade.
Just did the Terra Acoustics upgrade over the weekend. Super easy and worth the $250 IMO. I do 3 hour highway drives a few times a month, and this seemed to really "brighten" the highs, especially when I had to turn the volume WAAAAY up to listen to anything at 80mph, before. Terra did an...
I second the Bestop that @Jab1719 mentioned. Great tonneau. I had the same one installed but recently removed it when I got my topper. Mine's for sale if you're in FL....
I don't use a sunshade, but we used to install a ton of these when I worked in truck accessories, and they were pretty damn good
