@primethios same thing here, gladiator solves my needs and wants in one purchase. I need a truck, modern is nice, manual transmission is a must (family anti theft device) I want a convertable and I don't care about a 1star safety rating. I live in a state where people buy trucks and keep them...
@Jake thank you SO much for posting the door card showing GVWR and payload.
Do you have a tow package on this vehicle?
1) No tow
2) regular tow
3) max tow

I was going to go for the base sport, no options.... just to make videos on the lowest cost to Gladiator ownership... I think you're right, plus the base sport is there for advertisements to fake the Gladiator being obtainable for $33k.
until I found out the base sport manual only has 1200...
I ordered my JT with aux switches. I've thought about using one for a 360 camera. But I wonder how I can get the InfoTainment to display a video feed with the press of an Aux Switch.

If they're the same and only differ in options... why can you not put heated seats on a base sport? I am trying to find out if the wiring and/or weather proofing of electronics are different between a sport and sport s.
that's so strange... doesn't seem like your configuration fits on this chat... the only auto that is meant to get 6250GVWR is with max tow.

The manual, no tow package configuration has different springs and shocks for max payload. Tow package gives you springs and shocks for better handeling while towing but compromises payload.
All...

manuals
sport base, 1200 payload
sport s no tow package, 1600 payload
I've seen a manual transmission Sport S Gladiator with the regular tow package and its GVWR is 5800, payload 1200.
I ordered a Manual Sport S with no tow package (for...
depends what kind of driving you do. 4.1 will give you worse fuel economy if you're 85% highway driving over 60 mph. but if you're mostly driving in town, 4.1 will give you a lower rpm for the same torque a 3.73 will, and you'll get better fuel economy with 4.1 driving 85% in town or stop and go.
Im way up in the north east corner of New England. I had gone into one dealer ship about 4 times, asking questions, doing test drives, deciding, changing my mind ect...
the 5th time I showed up I had paperwork from another dealer showing I put down $500 deposit and they gave me
