I forget the name of the process, but the sales person at my local jeep dealer tried to phone in a custom order because 23B wasn't in his order tool. the rep on the phone put him on hold and came back to polietly say, "tell the customer the base availability is not released yet".

I haven't been able to find a dealer yet that can order 23B, base modle sport (non S) in manual. Does anybody know if the max tow can be put on this? how about the cold weather package (heated steering wheel and seats). my local dealer seemed to think there's a chance the base has different...

why would the low pinion ever be used on a Dana 44 if its an inferior design with less ground clearance, less power and greater wear.... I don't get how it would be a cost savings to have low pinion over high?

does anybody know if/where to find out, if the Dana 44 Axels on the Sport (not the wide dana 44s from max tow, but I am interested too) are high or low pinion? I've been searching around online, however I cannot find the answer.

I like having an LSD on mud roads and deep snow. I have a '90 Miata with a real TorSen LSD (did switch from the stock vLSD), I change the diff fluid every 3rd oil change and it requires no maintainance and works exteremely well. Rev to 7500, actaully anything above 5000, it will lock up...
