  1. International Gladiator model?

Sometimes they re-enact scenes for dramatic purpose. It could have been done outside of the original location.
  2. Compelling Electric Truck Prices

I've got a Ford Lightning issued to me for work, and my opinion is that it's (still) about 3-5 years before I'd personally get an EV. And I'd have no issue not having a gasser at that point, but we're not there, yet. 1) We need more and faster chargers-- plus social etiquette needs to set in...
  3. Gladiator has some new competition...

So is there no binding when turning, and if not, why isn't this a thing in 4WD vehicles that use part-time 4WD?
  4. No more Parts and Services for EcoDiesel at jeep Dealership.

Correct. They can sue, regardless. Even if you can prove it's true and it ultimately holds up (or a judge refuses to see it). But the strategy is to make you pay to defend yourself. That's how lawsuits work.
  5. Gladiator has some new competition...

The Gladiator Rubicon comes standard with a part-time four-wheel drive system, while the Grenadier Quartermaster has full time four-wheel drive with a lockable center differential and locking front and rear differentials are available as an option. Is this the French version of AWD or have they...
  6. Clutch Recall (2/23/23): Clutch Pressure Plate May Overheat -- Affecting 70,000 Manual Jeep Wranglers and Gladiators

...to clarify, when I say the banner is across the screen, I do not mean the headunit in the Jeep. I read that again (what I wrote) and now see the confusion. Ultimately my reason for mentioning it is my continued frustration with a lack of fix for a recall that took effect literally the day...
  7. Clutch Recall (2/23/23): Clutch Pressure Plate May Overheat -- Affecting 70,000 Manual Jeep Wranglers and Gladiators

LoJack uses your vin, which it already has, and checks for recalls as an additional "service". And it's telling me to get a new clutch, as an immediately dangerous defect.
  8. Clutch Recall (2/23/23): Clutch Pressure Plate May Overheat -- Affecting 70,000 Manual Jeep Wranglers and Gladiators

My dealer default-installed LoJack on my Jeep, and claimed they put them on all vehicles before they're sold. I'd never seen this before at a dealership, but they expected me to pay them for this device & service even though I never asked for it. I ultimately refused to and demanded they...
  9. Mojave level spacers?

You'll want adjustable LCAs at the very least for a 1.5 spacer. My Mojave was basically level when purchased, but a steel bumper and winch later, a 1.5 was put on. It sits a scoatch high in the front, but am told the weight/wear will eventually bring it down to level. Not sure if that's bunk...
  10. What did you do WITH your Gladiator today?

Drove from Ellensburg to Wenatchee WA over Table Mountain via overland trails.
  11. Q2 2023 Jeep Gladiator Sales Results

Poor sales as a result of one or more of the following (speculation on my part): 1) Current gas prices vs MPG of the Gladiator 2) $60k+ vs perceived value is a tough sell right now. Most people don't appreciate the capability. They just see an overpriced light duty pickup that really does...
  12. Progressive Insurance doubled in Orlando

This. Unlike commercial claims, they do not reward loyalty. In fact, they take advantage of it.
  13. First real tow with the manual.....not good

You don't need to pull anything to understand how underpowered the 3.6 is, especially with bigger tires and the weight of other mods we add to these vehicles. I had 2 passengers heading out of Grand Coulee a couple weeks ago with A/C running, maybe 2-3% uphill grade for a several mile stretch...
  14. Regear Question/Concern

When I regeared a couple months ago (manual) about a minute after driving out of the shop, a warning light came on the dash and it stopped displaying what gear I was currently in. Further research on the internet revealed that when I got regeared and updated the tazer, somehow the engine...
  15. Mopar black hood graphic maintenance

The Mopar black hood graphic was defaulted on my Mojave and at first I liked it. However I've since found that it's always spotty and dirty after car washes, or dusty and gross-looking when the rest of the vehicle is 'mildly clean'. Considering you stare at the hood/graphic while driving...
  16. Turbo Charging

Yes, this topic has its own super-thread. https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/forums/forced-induction-aftermarket-supercharger-turbo.42/ To Summarize: it's an expensive option that will eventually give you issues for a few extra HP. Some feel it's worth it, most do not. Also...
  17. Mojave vs Rubicon On-Road Ride Quality

The Mojave suspension doesn't do much on pavement. That's not what it's for. I say, get the Jeep you want and modify as-needed, suspension or otherwise.
  18. Weird chime sometimes while turning at higher speed

Hey there, I'm occasionally getting a chime and quick dash message about "shifting to first gear..." that I've never been able to fully read as it disappears instantly. It happens when making a turn above 25/30mph and I step on the brake to slow a bit after I take it out of gear (manual) to...
