  1. Quadratec dead petal installed.

I have no issue with my dead pedal. It is great to be able to rest my foot there. It just surprised me that the release of my break pedal can be felt through the dead pedal. I wonder what that 13 mm bolt is attached to on the other side of the firewall?
  2. Quadratec dead petal installed.

I bought the Quadratec stainless steel dead pedal. Looks and feels quality. Took all of 5 minutes to install. Easy. One thing I didn't expect. When the break pedal is released, it is felt very noticeable in the dead pedal. Some how the 13mms bolt that connects the dead pedal, touches a...
  3. If you could pick the hood, standard Sport style, Rubicon or Mojave?

I bought a used JT Rubicon, smoking deal. Otherwise I would own a Sport S and do upgrades in time. I would have wanted a Rubicon style hood eventually. I have seen on these threads from time to time folks swapping hoods. While I do think the Mojave hood looks nice... it looks too much Tacoma...
  4. 2020 Gladiator Mojave Review: For most buyers, the Mojave will make more sense than the Rubicon [Autoblog]

The Honcho does look nice, but I would go Gladiator any day. Way more versatile too.
  5. How Are Everyone’s Black Plastic Fender Flares Holding Up?

I have seen detailers use a heat gun and warm the black plastic and it makes the grey black again. I don't know how many times you can do that. Also it must be done so the plastic does not heat up too much and warp or shrink.
  6. Would a tune or gear change help bad MPG with 35 inch tires?

IU am on par with you. 35"s and 4.10 gearing
  7. 37 regrets

you live on a mountain? I have 35’s and Auto tranny. It holds 8th until larger hills. I do a lot of in town driving and average 18.5 mpg. Going down I-95 and I-495 in Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts I get more like 22 mpg for 100 miles. But regardless, it holds 8th more than not.
  8. Hidden/Buried features of the JT

I have heard that some states may use the EZ Pass system to do this exact thing at some point.
  9. Artec

The welds are something of beauty. I would want to have that bare steel clear coated only. To bad no clear primmer.
  10. JT - Jeep must haves from Harbor Freight

Ace hardware stores carry Craftsman too. I have my old 45 yo Craftsman set. Every now and again I will buy new tools for another tool box in car or house. I truthfully don’t see o r feel any difference from then to now. I have not been disappointed. I have used all the major premium...
  11. Texas Trail Edition Gladiator Trim

Hawaii was it own country too. King kamehamea ruled. I know, I spelled his name wrong. But Being big doesn’t mean much. I would like a State of Maine Edition. Big wheels, a lift and comes standard with moose antlers mounted on the top of the windshield frame. Of course it would be...
  12. Trail Recon Gladiator

    My thoughts exactly.
  13. Wisconsin Mopar 82215606 Performance Rock Rails

I have them on mIne. They look great. And yeah they can be used as a step, but it still is high and not very deep.
  14. Long Time Jeeper | Just Joined The Gladiator Club

That is a great looking JT. Love how you kept the round extra lights and didn’t do the square or cube ones.
  15. Long Time Jeeper | Just Joined The Gladiator Club

In run a 35”. I see on other threads guys running 37”s on stock wheels. My 35”s work well with the 4.10 gearing.
  16. Do not trust dealer or cheap air guage.

My computer seems accurate to the gauge as well. Being now I run the 35” x 12.5” x 17” BFG KO2’s, I was wondering what the recommended around town and hiway pressure should be. I have been running at 40 psi cold, temp in 30’s F. Goes up to about 42 psi. The tire has 65 psi full load...
  17. JT - Jeep must haves from Harbor Freight

I wonder what the overall consensus is on Hercules tools. I know my dual compound miter saw is quality... Does the Hercules 20v power tools hold up and compare with say De Walt. I know the ads say they do. But I don’t rightly know, being I never used any. Still mulling that Badlands winch...
  18. JT - Jeep must haves from Harbor Freight

Specifically for the JTR I picked up a 9000# tow rope from HF. Mulling over the synthetic line 12,000# Badlands APEX. For $499 it seems like a decent deal. It reviews well on the You Tube. I have a Hercules miter saw and it kicks ass, at least equal to the DeWalt I use at work. I like...
  19. What did you HAUL in your JT today?

EZ-UP canopy in its travel bag and a new gas tank for my Husqvarna snow blower. Nothing big or very impressive I must admit.
  20. Roll up tonneau cover....Does it lock?

We have different covers, mine has absolutely no fabric. It is the Tri-Fold hard one.
