I once saw on a TV show how it is stuck right to the frame. Say that was real... one could slip one into the frame, utilize the steel frame as a sort of antenna or similar. But this ain't TV, is it?
I run 35 except BFG KO2 T/A's. Not the same I know. But mine have much better handling all around set to 39 psi cold. 41 psi on the highway. Local temps here are low sub 10F to mid 20 F's. When hot in summer I will run about 33 to 36 psi cold.
I would guess I got the JTR because I wanted a new pickup truck. Bed and towing duties. Love the look and it's practical. With 35s it has a nice not to small look but isn't a modern day full sizer either. Top off, doors off and windscreen down capable? Sealed the deal, probably won't be...
Smash into things.... if you didn't look in rearview mirror or if blocked, get out and make sure your rear is clear, side mirrors still have a big blind spot in the rear. At work backing accidents are supposedly down over 80% since backup cameras have been installed. I do say it is a game...
I personally like the camera as is. When I am on the road I sometimes will enable the cam, just to make sure the tailgate is closed. When I first got it I must have closed it too weakly, because it would be open when I go to where I was going. I then had the cable in the half way position so...
So if I do the math... 6 mpg for the Jeep, say the trailer used up 6 mpg and then the trailered pick up 6 mpg. Add them all, looks like the average 18 mpg the rest of us usually see.
I wave at other Jeeps and they usually wave at me. But I will say, coming home from work, I am in la la land and I wave after I have been passed. So I must look like a non waver jackwagon to the folks I pass by coming home. They are probably saying "Look at that guy with the big tires! What...
Yeah my wife is hesitant too. I would like to remove the Rubicon. Keep it clean awhile. Maybe I'll like it enough to keep that way. But I really want some other decal. Just haven't found something I "need to have". So keep it blank a while. Come warm weather I will remove th he Rubicon...
35 x 12.5 x 17 BFG KO2 T/A, 40 psi, 18 3/8" to lowest part on hitch. Stock height JTR. No winch or weight in bed other than 3 pc hard tonneau. Steel front and rear bumpers with bull bar on front.
I really don't care if the dealer sticker is an advertisement or not. They just usually detract from the look. As some have alluded too, even the Jeep logo is an advertisement. How many of you anti- advertisement people remove that too?
Like I mentioned in a past post, Jeep and it's dealers...
