There is a local shop that had one in stock. They also had it online for awhile. The white looks cool but I think it lets a lot of light in—but the rain cover resolves that.
no regrets for the price paid. I got mine on sale for 1300. I’d eventually like to get a hard shell one so it’s easier to...
I don’t like the look of the roof height bed racks so that limited me to fold out tents. I have the OVS nomadic 3 and it’s got a ton of room inside. The only thing I don’t like about it , and any others of this style, is the cover to put on and take off can be cumbersome especially if you’re in...
I won’t get any additional travel beyond what I already have unless I get longer shocks. The fox 2.0 4” and rock sport metal cloaks are contenders for my next shock as they are 30”+ extended vs the falcons which are 28”ish. Im just not confident the Clayton’s can withstand that level of shock...
I’m running 2.5” evo coils and I like the ride paired with my falcon sp2 shocks. I was about to pull the trigger on the Clayton 3.5 but couldn’t help wonder if there is a downside to just throwing in some 3/4” spacers to get a little bit more clearance on my break over or bumper.
Would you go to...
Rei has their own which is much less expensive https://www.rei.com/product/177675
I like this idea as I can use it independently of my truck. I have a RTT so I can leave this so people know I’m camped there.
I’m looking for an awning with a priority on ease of use but will also fit on my racks that don’t go above the roof so 5’ or so in length closed to avoid overhang—or even one that is shorter I could put on the back so it’ll extend over the tailgate.
Unless you are giving it gas.
This looks like it’ll suck in droplets if you are giving it gas . Didn’t the JKs do the same thing and they would still hydrolock.
This would make me nervous.
Aux 1: rigid sideshooter a pillar lights
Aux 2: warn power interrupt switch to activate the winch
Aux 3: diy 12v bed outlet
Aid 4: dashcam. Easy on and off. Set to recall last state always on
Yes--that is also a solid option. I wasn't planning on running the 39s until late next year or so but wanted a bit more clearance sooner. I am running the AEV Savegre II wheels and I think anything wider I might run into some clearance issues. Their Backspacing is 5.77" (+25mm offset) which is...
I currently have the evo 2.5” with falcon shocks and absolutely love the ride with falcons set to soft. BUT….
Id like a little more clearance and am thinking the metalcloak 3.5 would be a nice next step. Anyone ever compare the two? I think my evo sits a tad higher than 2.5”.
Another option is...
Thank you. I’ll be able to immediately test them out in some snow and ice and will report back with my thoughts.
They’ll arrive at discount tire next week. Feeling good about the choice.
I don’t think the silica is in the LT versions which what the 37s are…
After much research am going with the general grabber atx 37s.
They are lighter than the Wildpeaks, still command them 3psfm symbol for severe weather, and run true to size—larger than both the ko2 and wildpeaks.
I thought I was set on these at3ws after running Patagonias for the past year, but the falken weigh a ton and are even slightly smaller than the ko2?! Both tires in 37x12.5 17.
Falken At3w: 82 lbs at 574 Revs per mile
Ko2: 64 lbs at 569 revs per mile.
now the KO2s don’t sound as bad.
