  1. Any Hybrid Tires decent in mud?

Look at the mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT's if you haven't already, probably the most aggressive all terrain I've found, and I've been running them for nearly 35k. Love em.
  2. Looking for higher capacity springs for my Rubicon but….

I have had a pretty great experience with putting on sumo springs to my diesel JTR, pretty cheap in the grand scheme of things, and are far more comfortable than the standard bumpstops
  3. Which Auxiliary Switch Control for the EcoDiesel?

Just installed the jl400 today on my ecodiesel, it mounts on the same side, but above the fuse panel with no problem at all
  4. Belly pan skids, Metalcloak or RockHard?

I like it, I've seen horror stories on YT from The Story Til Now and Dirtlifestyle's channel about an ecodiesel wrecking their stock fuel filter "skid" on the Rubicon trail and bought the ASFIR the minute I saw it. Don't know that I plan to wheel hard enough for a full belly skid just yet given...
  5. Belly pan skids, Metalcloak or RockHard?

I found Asfir 4x4 to get a fuel filter skid, but they're super reasonably priced and in pretty impressed with the quality
  6. Post Your Jeep and We'll Rate It

2021 JTR Diesel. I think I'll be selling the bedrack and tent to upgrade to something like a GFC
  7. Regen message????

When it does that, it's actually a good thing that you had a ways to still go. Shutting it off at that point would have given you problems, rather than driving
  8. What is the most miles you have seen on a new eco diesel.

Kinda what I was thinking too, never looked before but was removing the front coils to put new bump stops in before a big trip. Just gonna have to keep an eye I guess!
  9. What is the most miles you have seen on a new eco diesel.

26k, 37's and 2.5in AEV lift since 10k. No real issues, but I did just get an oil change and now noticed the front diff and LCA on the driver's side seem a little bit "wet" with what looks like oil. Just used my last jeep wave oil change so havent done one myself yet... Is it normal to have a...
  10. Who is running 37"-40" tires on the diesel

Running 37's, hardshell roof top tent and rack so always ~400lbs of stuff in the back. No need to regear in my opinion. Living in the mountains of WA, I average 21.5mpg on the diesel.
  11. Help a brother out I came from a zr2

I highly recommend the AEV 2.5IN diesel lift paired with their steering damper. Provides a more firm ride than the overly soft stock suspension, and they put in a lot of R&D to make it perform well in all conditions. I noticed that it tows a lot better as well given the new setup vs stock
  12. 2022 rubicon order decision .. gas or diesel ?

I went with the JTRD, can confirm the stock suspension wasn't all that great, but after installing the AEV 2.5IN Diesel lift and 37's it rides like a dream now. Combined mpg with the lift and tires, bedrock and hardshell roof top tent is still 20.5-22mpg. I live in the mountains, but on longer...
  13. Idaho AEV 2.5 Dual Sport Diesel Lift

Super small world haha I live out by Dougan falls towards the very end of Washougal River Rd. Definitely gonna have to link up and run some trails man, we go out to Stevenson/Carson almost weekly
  14. Idaho AEV 2.5 Dual Sport Diesel Lift

Love the setup! I have a hardshell FSR tent with a bedrock, but I definitely see the value of going with a GFC type setup to keep stuff dry and locked up. Where are you located in Oregon? I used to live in La Pine and recently moved from Portland to the WA side of the river lol
  15. Idaho AEV 2.5 Dual Sport Diesel Lift

Just got the coils in for my aev 2.5 today, and will be getting everything installed next week hopefully. Was actually considering the Borah/37in tire combo as well so pretty identical setup on my JTRD. Any other pics you might be able to share from different angles? Trying to gauge what the...
  16. Eco diesel Suspension bottoming out on normal roads

Yeah, shocks made a massive difference. Hoping the coils come in soon, have a possible trip planned in October so it all depends on if the coils arrive in time or it's gonna be a no go.
  17. Eco diesel Suspension bottoming out on normal roads

Finally pulled the trigger on a lift kit to try and fix the BS suspension issue. Really wasn't planning to do anything to the jeep for a couple years but here we are. Went with the AEV 2.5in dualsport suspension from Northridge 4x4. They had everything in stock except the coil springs...
  18. Eco diesel Suspension bottoming out on normal roads

I have a 1 inch teraflex spacer sitting around that I was considering putting in the front to put a band aid on it... Any ideas if that would cause issues with the suspension?
  19. Eco diesel Suspension bottoming out on normal roads

I really hope they actually do something about this because it is such an issue that the truck is, in my opinion, not at all living up to what it's advertised to be and definitely not justified for the price point. It's so bad that I almost don't want to drive it off road in fear I'm going to...
  20. Eco diesel Suspension bottoming out on normal roads

Finally got the chance to take a camping trip in the JTRD this weekend and I'm honestly so disappointed in how the suspension performed off-road. I was wheeling with a stock Tacoma TRD off road, and a Crosstrek (stock, on full pressure street tires, loaded with gear) joined in on the fun for...
