The high pitched noise I'm hearing is definitely coming from my gauges or some electronics right around there. It doesn't seem to get worse or better with turning the steering wheel. It only gets better with dimming the gauge cluster from what I've seen so far.

My 2018 JLUR had the same gauge/stereo setup and never had this issue. :(

You're right. I just picked up my Gladiator, same issue. My dealer said there is no fix in the pipe yet. I'll just keep bugging them on and off about it.

Can your dealer place a second order for you and see if it goes through faster? They can always sell your Rubicon if it ever arrives... but I wonder if you'd just be better off ordering again?

Whoops, just read the 'upgraded speakers/sub' part - totally missed that the first time. :D

Don't forget though, that 7 inch screen doesn't have the Alpine system by default. That alone is worth the upgrade, in my opinion. On the JLUR I have, even the gauge cluster screen changed by going with the 8.4 Infotainment (they called it that at some point) - I'm not sure if that's the case...

I went to test out the 7 inch radio with Alpine system versus the 8.4 radio with Alpine system the other day - and I have to say, for whatever reason, the 8.4 inch radio with the Alpine system had a deeper thump to the bass that could be felt in my chest. This was a test using the same phone...

Awesome! The ATs I test drove didn't have any rumble at all (which makes sense) and had great road manners. I'm still glad I ordered the MTs. Can't wait to get mine in - thanks everybody!
