I don't agree it's a non-issue based on my experience. Maybe it's different in AZ, but I have only been to 1 track with EV chargers that I can recall. I do think it will get better with time.
I've been on track with a Tesla before and he didn't finish any of his sessions, but I didn't ask him...
A few fast laps isn't that interesting to me. I'm talking about 4-5 20+ minute sessions per day
The closest I have seen it sort-of work is a guy that brings 2 Teslas to the track. He has to alternate every other session. Now, how do you get 2 EVs to the track? I guess you could tow them with...
I'm sure an EV is in my future at some point, we just haven't got to that point.
My 2 automotive passions are getting way out in the boonies and driving on racetracks. EV just isn't suitable for these yet.
Right, but fuel trims will adjust over time, up to a point.
I'm not going to pretend to be a pentastar tuning expert, but I think there is room in the tune for small changes like a CAI. I also think it's unlikely the TB is more of a restriction than the filter, but I can't say for sure.
7700 is slightly above the max tow spec for the Gladiator. The supercharger won't change the rating and technically counts against you since it adds weight.
Loaded up the family and went to Hidden Falls today. I stayed on the baby stuff as I don't want to get any booboos, so we did the park roads and North Pole with judicious use of the bypasses. Only scraped the skid plate a bit, so mission accomplished.
I was really impressed with the Gladiator...
It can happen anywhere. I almost hit my own kid once because I didn't know he had gotten out, went into the house and was running back to the truck. Someone was watching over us that day and we had a safety talk.
I feel horrible for them.
