If you're not in love with a turbo diesel the real question is if it's cheaper to own. It depends on a lot of factors, but probably not for most people.
Are the doors aluminum? You don't want to body work on that.
I'd definitely be looking for a boneyard door rather than spend money on body work and paint. These things were designed to have the doors off so it's very easy to swap.
If I'm home I just stay quiet with all the lights on and let them come in. Then when about a dozen are inside I kill the lights and suddenly "Let The Bodies Hit The Floor" starts playing super loud.
I'm sure GM would like to make a ton of them but they haven't even been able to do a full year's production of base C8s yet. I don't think we're going to see a lot of C8's of either type just laying around for sale at under MSRP any time soon. You could get thousands off a C7 Z06 sitting on your...
It depends on how many Z06's they'll actually produce. I would like to trade mine for a Z06 but it's probably going to be years before I get an allocation.
Mine is at ~6200 miles and 21% left. That would be a point in favor of a more complex algorithm and not purely mileage based. I'll make an appointment with the dealer next month to get it changed, it will probably be around 10-15% if I had to guess.
I really don't plan on doing anything special...
Thanks, TO.
They are supposed to go in the corner per the instructions but there is no threaded hole there. I emailed adventure works and they offered to send me the parts to install like yours is. They said some have a threaded hole and there some don't. I bought some nutserts and was able to...
My first vehicle was an Early Bronco and I loved that thing. I had high hopes for the Bronco when it was first hinted at being brought back, but I wouldn't get one now.
For the money I could build a real nice EB.
