  1. Bent Frame - 2021 Gladiator Mojave

Why would bending a frame be a warranty claim?
  2. My 5.7L Hemi Gladiator Conversion

Sacrilege! That would be pretty unique. The LT4 bolts up to your trans though, and is only down 50-ish HP.
  3. Disappointed

    Wooderson? Is that you?
  4. Disappointed

    It's not a video game.
  5. Gladiator diesel real life MPG

If you're not in love with a turbo diesel the real question is if it's cheaper to own. It depends on a lot of factors, but probably not for most people.
  6. Fix it myself or take it to the dealer?

I'd take it to the dealer, then I'd put loctite on it and it torque it properly when I got it home.
  7. DIY Fix or Dealer/Insurance?

Are the doors aluminum? You don't want to body work on that. I'd definitely be looking for a boneyard door rather than spend money on body work and paint. These things were designed to have the doors off so it's very easy to swap.
  8. Where do you stand on a citizens use of deadly force?

If I'm home I just stay quiet with all the lights on and let them come in. Then when about a dozen are inside I kill the lights and suddenly "Let The Bodies Hit The Floor" starts playing super loud.
  9. Article: top price premiums paid for new vehicles -- JT is 4th on list

I'm sure GM would like to make a ton of them but they haven't even been able to do a full year's production of base C8s yet. I don't think we're going to see a lot of C8's of either type just laying around for sale at under MSRP any time soon. You could get thousands off a C7 Z06 sitting on your...
  10. Article: top price premiums paid for new vehicles -- JT is 4th on list

It depends on how many Z06's they'll actually produce. I would like to trade mine for a Z06 but it's probably going to be years before I get an allocation.
  11. Article: top price premiums paid for new vehicles -- JT is 4th on list

I think they're splitting coupe vs convertible. Kinda funny, I own 2 of the vehicles on the list and didn't pay a premium on either of them.
  12. Is it me, or does the JT really struggle...

I don't know what everyone else does, but I just press my right foot down as far as it will go. It's minimal effort on my part. :)
  13. Is it me, or does the JT really struggle...

How fast do you really want to go in one of these anyway?
  14. 6,500 miles oil life still 32%

Mine is at ~6200 miles and 21% left. That would be a point in favor of a more complex algorithm and not purely mileage based. I'll make an appointment with the dealer next month to get it changed, it will probably be around 10-15% if I had to guess. I really don't plan on doing anything special...
  15. Midlife Crisis? Hemi Conversion

I am on a list for one at MSRP but it's looking like maybe 2, probably 3 years. I'm enjoying the heck out of my poverty edition C8 in the meantime.
  16. Searchiong for a canopy-Smart CAP vs ALU-CAP vs RLD vs ARE

First pic is where it is supposed to attach, but no threaded holes. Second is after I got the nutsert in and was able to attach it.
  17. Searchiong for a canopy-Smart CAP vs ALU-CAP vs RLD vs ARE

Thanks, TO. They are supposed to go in the corner per the instructions but there is no threaded hole there. I emailed adventure works and they offered to send me the parts to install like yours is. They said some have a threaded hole and there some don't. I bought some nutserts and was able to...
  18. Searchiong for a canopy-Smart CAP vs ALU-CAP vs RLD vs ARE

Hey TO, would you mind taking a pic of the front mounting bolts? I put mine on last night and I don't see how they line up with anything to bolt to.
  19. Jeep owner jealousy?

My first vehicle was an Early Bronco and I loved that thing. I had high hopes for the Bronco when it was first hinted at being brought back, but I wouldn't get one now. For the money I could build a real nice EB.
