Mystery with drivers side . mine works but stoped coming on automatically below 39 degrees. manually works fine , is set to work in the radio . Went in and checked everything with alfaOBD and everything I can find says its all set to work . I gave up , I hate electrical issues . Thats why I...
I gave up .I used to run them Religiously . Didn't last a year on my last ram and it also was on a battery tender being I usually used my 25 year old TJ mostly since retired. Buy the best Walmart has and take it back no questions asked IF you have a problem and walmarts are every where .
Wasn't long after your mileage I had a sloppy draglink. I have had plenty of Jeeps so I know what the usual players are in a jeep front end so I did the track also at that time. That was many parts ago not because they were bad but I know they were weak and could use some better geometry help.
If they offered the 3.6 with a turbo I would still bought the NA motor. If the 5.7 option cost the same in a JT as it does for a Ram 1500 bet your ass I would have one
I understand that. The 8100’s was probably my last jeep parts for a while. Some day I will probably need ball joints. I should of done them when i did the high steer but at my age that took long enough
Bilstein 8100 DSA would be my choice Mainly because I have experience with them. You can change the settings with the two dials on each reservoir as the weight of your vehicle changes so it always rides good. Im sure their are others that can do it. Most dont have 2 year warranty and...
I have had many 5.7s all with less issues than my 3.6 has had with just 18,000 miles. I bet its just alot easier to justify the price using a 6.4. I would prefer the lighter 5.7 for my use
I Know Im in the minority but I could tell a difference in ride quality with spacers added and they were not as large as yours . I called it " an exaggerated rebound " with spacers. I replaced with the correct springs to get the desired height and all was well , many times .its a cheap way out...
Jeep Performance Parts. MOPAR. Slotted off-Road wheels 17x8.5”. 5.22 BS. I prefer not to look to like cookie cutter wheels and looks almost like it came with them plus the right width
The high steer looks like my Currie Rock jock high steer which is about 2g of the kit. I used Synergy springs and Bilstein 8100 DSA shocks instead of 5100’s. Its a good start but I still say buy the components ya like instead of a kit then you dont cry two or three times
Usually the dry steer test will show you exactly what is worn out. The weight of the new tires may be causing what is worn to show up. Usually track bar and drag link are the first to show up bad from my experience but with the miles you have it could be most anything. Other than ball joints...
I guess being i start building my own toys as a kid because I didn't have the money to pay someone else to do it. I got used to it and at 71 I still do it but for different reasons now. I like to see and feel the effects of each change. I never cared for people who have to tell ya what you want...
I bought 4 a couple years ago. Each tire was taking like 12-16 oz of weight. Put the same tires on my OE wheels and same tires took average about 6 oz. Sent the wheels back and swapped for MOPAR Slotted offroad wheels and took 6-8 oz. I really liked the looks just not the quality that I...
For shocks don't over look Bilstein 8100 DSA. Adjust how "YOU" want by turning each knob instead of paying a tuner and hope you both have the same idea as to what a nice ride is . Plus you can change the setting as your needs change in 30 seconds
