I’d keep the geometry correction brackets and get a set of adjustable arms with better bushings not soft Clevite like OE. . Make sure the arms can be adjusted to stock length not all are. The better bushings will hold the front axle from moving as much as Clevite does which translates to...
Made them many years ago. Why did they stop? That may be why there isnt one now. I’d love to see a full size straight axle 1/2 ton again I had a 1965 Gladiator step side
Got a slight break from taking care of my Alzheimer wife so I put the rear two 8100 DSAs on . Waiting on one missing Front one from NorthRidge and some time and I will be good . So far so good
With the 2017 Ram i had with the select trac had clutches and Ram had the pressure lower on that one vs the last one I had with the same transfercase in my 08 I think I had. The 08 was much better. I added a resistor to the 17 that increased the pressure and then it worked great. You can find...
I spent a fair amount of money experimenting but so much of this stuff is subjective. That said i just do my own experimenting because if you dont you never really know “ how good good is ”. Ive never been one to say thats how a lifted jeep is or its good enough. I guess thats why I am never...
Id say I lost closer to 3/4” with winch and bumper The MOPAR springs gave me about 2 3/4 inch lift and the Synergy put me back to 2 3/4” after the new bumper and winch was installed. Later I later added a .5 inch spacer to that. I hate Spacers so eventually started the spring thing all over...
Took advantage of the 25YEARS and ordered Bilstein 8100 DSA shocks for my JT . Now the suspense of waiting and to make it a longer wait , one is not in stock :crying:
I would not buy a nice Mojave and use a spacer lift
When for a few dollars more you can use springs for the same height and not compromise. Thats like buying a big block Corvette and run regular gas in it to me
I lifted it and 37s about a week after I bought it. I cant stand the looks of a stock Gladiator. I hated them when they came out. Then I saw one on 40s and said now that looks good.
If the control arms have bushings that rotate within the arm the bolts can be tightened any time. Its only bushings like the OE type or any that don't rotate within the arm that needs to be tightened with the vehicle weight on them in order not to have tension on them
Started with a 1965 Gladiator then 46 CJ-2a. 80 CJ-5 , 97 TJ , 97 XJ, 99TJ , 05 TJ 12 JK , bought my 99 Tj back. 22 JT. Thats just the Jeeps in my life. Always had a reg cab short bed pickup for work
You will like the anti rock. The thing is when you have one tire hanging or barely touching the ground it isn't doing much of anything to keep you moving forward traction wise when disconnected. With anti-rock the same tire dangling is transferring weight ( down force ) to the compressed...
