APOC arms. There was an issue with the first set of lowers, apparently something in shipping got mixed up, so I'm wondering if these were mixed up as well. The replacement set of lowers fit great.
I can turn the joint at the top, but that would make it 90* to the fork end. Both bolts (axle and Frame) mount horizontally. Turning the joint at the top there would align the joint and the bend, but it would make the fork incorrect.
I could rotate the joint 180*, but the forks would be off by...
Pretty dang close, the bends are about the same angle, but obviously if you rotate the arm the axle mount would be 90* off. Miswelded maybe?
I'm contacting the mfg today to see what they say, just wanted confirmation before I spoke to them.
Can someone that has recently installed or has a set of aftermarket upper adjustable control arms help me out. I went to install mine today, and the bend is different than the factory arms and I couldn't get them to fit. Ended up putting the factory arms back on.
Factory arms the frame and axle...
First month of ownership done, few little mods here and there. Finally got to take the dealership tag off.
I feel like I need a cigarette, it didn’t last long but it sure was fun ????
I just took a 1.5" lift off my Gladiator Max Tow on 37" BFG KM3 (a smaller 37", about 35.5" tall). I would rub on my RR Full Width Bumper when turning into an area and hitting a good bump. Replacing it with a 3.5" lift.
For a 315, which is closer to a 33.5-34" tall tire, I would think you...
I feel your pain man, mine sat at the railyard in Atlanta for almost a month before it was shipped to my dealership, this trucker/logistics shortage is affecting everything.
Honestly I haven’t installed a head unit/stereo in 15 years. Last time I did I had to buy a head unit, an adapter harness specifically for my head unit and my truck, and a bracket to mount the head unit to my truck.
My gladiator had Apple CarPlay, and I don’t know how I lived without. I’m...
The "hook" that I made from an oversized carabiner to hoist my hardtop off scratched the top a little bit, grabbed a sharpie and touched it up.
Master mechanic over here y'all... lol
I saw that mount too, it looks good but not $150 good. Like you said it's also only on the drive side, which is weird. I do like how they incorporate the pinch weld bolts, but with the steps I don't know if it would be worth it, or even work with my steps.
I also hate that big space on the...
I’m looking at a way to mount my hilift Jack to my Jeep and like it mounted near the front passenger door. My idea is to have the Jack rest on the step bar in front of the passenger door. I held the Jack here and it doesn’t interfere with the door in any way. The lift has a hole in the bottom...
Good starting point, I'll shoot for that and adjust after.
Not very happy with the caster now. Factory is around 4*, after the 1.5" lift I put on I should be lower than that. with 37's, I think I need to be closer to 6*. I tried to measure factory, but those are off.
Eaton above is listing the same part number for the M210 and M220, I thought the lockers were different, no?
Also, why list the front m210 on the JL at 8.27, and the front M210 on the JT at 8.3? same with the rears, the wrangler M220 is .03 smaller than the JT?
I have a 1.5” kit now, likely swapping In taller coils in the future. I have adjustable control arms and want to dial in my caster to do away with some of the wandering I am experiencing on the highway.
I would agree, to get set up properly with the Amazon links plus a set of turning plates I’d...
Is there any way to accurately measure caster at home? I've watched several videos and see most people use a digital angle finder which I have sitting on top of the upper machined ball joint, which I can do.
The issue I'm running into is the 12.5-ish degrees the balljoints lean towards the...
