Same as well. Then again I live in GA and not Colorado. Not completely flat, I do spend decent time in the N. GA mountains, but that's definitely not the Rockies...
I would question too if OP calibrated for both the tires and the gears. 10 Seems low unless you drive it like a sports car. I...
Olympics were cool, I was 10 and got to go see a soccer game because that was the only tickets we could get, my folks felt like we needed to go see something. I had a hat and a few pins, but unfortunately I think most of it was lost on me no caring. Still gotta give the nod to 2021 though.
Gearing is, IMO the biggest "bang for your buck" performance wise.
Coming from someone that hasn't regeared yet on 37s(waiting for more locker options for the front), No one that I can remember has ever regretted regearing with larger tires.
I like expanding, any time you can remove the decision from "corporate" and make the teams prove their worth is a good idea.
I think we put way too much emphasis on conference though. Even being a SEC fan, I don't like the idea of "if you win your conference you automatically get it" plus the...
Meh- I'm all for expanding, but at the end of the day the only job is to get the two best teams to play for the title. They definitely did that this year
Sounds like your caster is off, you need some longer lower control arms at a minimum with the RC 3.5" lift. If you are planning on wheeling it, get a set of longer adjustable lower control arms. If you aren't planning on wheeling it a lot, get some control arm drop brackets.
The idea of a basic straight 6 not covered in vacuum hoses like the TJ makes me happy in my pants. Hopefully if this does come to fruition Jeep doesn't overcomplicated the daylights out of it, straight cylinders have always been my favorite. the 300i6 from Ford is still one of my favorite...
Exactly. Curb weight of the Gladiators is 4650-5050. Even with a 200# driver, puts you at 4850. a 7650# trailer puts you at 765#s tongue weight if loaded right, so your payload is at 965, gvwr at 6015.
The Max tow has a higher rating than the Rubicon not because it's stronger, but because it...
GVW = Gross Vehicle Weight, meaning how much weight can be on the 4 tires of the Jeep.
GCWR = Gross Combined weight Rating, meaning how much total weight Jeep and Trailer can pull.
Typically the trailer weight is just a marketing combination with the heaviest trailer you can town in a perfect...
Glad to hear it's on the move, I've ordered a few things from QT and always gotten it timely.
I fully understand it's frustrating, but at the same time you've got to have a bit of respect for a company of that size even attempting to keep an inventory system and them trying to support the...
They stay in my wife's purse...
ohh you said LUG Nuts, sorry..... No value, can buy a set of aftermarket off amazon for $20-$25, not worth my time to sell. I'll toss 3-4 in the glove box, the rest are destined to rot away on my spare parts shelf...
I see how it is, yall just like taedh17 better than me..... lol
Thanks everyone, I'll stick with crutchfield. I really don't "Need" anything right now, roadtrips are done for a few months but I'd like to have ApplePlay next roadtrip.
Mostly city driving, definitely go deeper. I'd say either 4.88s or 5.13s, but honestly it'd be hard to tell the difference between the two. Just pick one and go. If you have ANY thoughts of going larger than 35's, or even picking a heavier 35, definitely 5.13s
Thats awesome, I did a bit of playing around in the OnX App, seems good. I also found an article about JeepWave getting the app for free for 6 months, but couldn't actually find where to register and get the elite app.
Any recommendations/comparisons for a good GPS app that works great with Apple CarPlay? I have the free version of Gaia and it does have a CarPlay app, not sure if any of the other do.
Only real off-roading I've done is at off road parks, but I'd like to get into riding trails/forest roads...
Weight, traction, steering angle, torque, and stupidity break axle shafts.
I can break a 44 axle on 33's if I'm running a spool, full steering lock, spinning the tires and catch a rock or root. I can also ride 44s on the street no problems if that's all I ever do. It's going to depend on how...
understood, that’s actually why I bought them was for the rubber bushings. They do provide a better ride compared to the typical flex bushings on the market. Not saying they are for everyone, but there are several other components in your suspension that will limit flex before the control arms...
