I have the OEM rolling. I did not realize that you could do that initial "break" and then roll the thing up for probably the first four months of ownership. I had been folding it the entire time thinking, "damn this is pretty stupid." Come to realize I was pretty stupid.
Curious if anyone on here has tried selling or trading in their JT with the current health and economic situation at hand. I realize this is a tall ask as if you did let your JT loose, I doubt you'd still be on here. I know @WXman had changed over to the Ram side, but I think he got out before...
I do like those (and Quakeās if it werenāt so much more expensive), but it seems like the Rugged Ridge offering will let you keep the factory liner with some trimming. I think you need a new liner with the other guys, but Iām sure you could do some creative trimming to make those work with OEM...
Ripped up about 15 shrubs and brought āem to the street to be turned into free mulch! Pictures show an in progress and then after. Previous owners were starving this poor Japanese Maple!
The skinny of the story is that my calipers were full of sand. Not overly happy about that considering I havenāt done any extreme wheeling; never been stuck or anything close to it. Iāve definitely been on some sand, but Iām in Florida; of course! Not really sure what this will mean in the long...
Ooo I like it!
In the original post, it says that the "commercial" version is less than half the price of the one with windows. Does that just mean a totally solid side with no access? Meaning something without a hinge or anything. Or just a metal panel in place of a window but still hinged...
I'm heading in for my first oil change and tire rotation in a couple hours. Having them look at the rear brakes to see what's going on. I mean, the truck has been off road, but some super mild stuff that I put the lockers on and all just to say I pushed the buttons at this point. Truck has...
Iād say it gets driven once every two days on average. That ādriveā ranges from pulling up some shrubs in the yard to a trip to the store, but brakes being used regardless.
I noticed it a few days back but only snapped the pictures yesterday. Itās probably had 50 or so miles on it since I...
Well thatās a bummer! Especially on something that has <7k miles on it with no heavy off-roading. Just some sandy trails here in the panhandle and a trip in north Georgia my company car could get through.
Is anyone else having this issue? Iāve had it happen in some high performance cars under...
Was taking a peek at the brakes while washing the JTR today and noticed that the contact of rear caliper/pad to rotor did not look right. Took a peek at the opposing side and then noticed that it was even more irregular.
Front rotors appear to have full contact, but why are the rears not making...
No power rakes or the like that Iāve been able to find anywhere near here to rent unfortunately :(
Want to rent their aerator, but will have to rent one of their trailers since wife canāt help me lift it out of the bed and neighbors are (rightfully) cautious for distancing since Iām in healthcare.
Just finished dethatching the yard by hand. No Jeep used, but 811 is taking their time on getting the yard marked for shrub pulls. First and last time Iāll be doing that without some horsepower. Up next is aerator. Soil is just a little too dry, so Iāll water today and try it again tomorrow if...
Iāve got my 30ft tow strap that Iāll be using in the upcoming days to get rid of a lot of shrubs once 811 finishes up. Iāve been working hard on my St. Augustine (hand raked yesterday to dethatch now that the oaks have stopped dropping their leaves), so Iām hoping I can get by without too much...
