  1. Jeep Wave No More! [Clarification: Only Discounts on Jeep Merchandise Cancelled]

On Jeep's website: Savings Network JeepĀ® Wave members can use their $500 in annual savings to purchase selected products typically at 20%-40% off the best available pricing. For example, an item that retails for $100 and is available for $75 exclusively to members would represent $25 in...
  2. Jeep Wave No More! [Clarification: Only Discounts on Jeep Merchandise Cancelled]

Got my E-mail yesterday. I didn't even know I had a "Savings Network." Better yet, what is a "Savings Network?"
  3. Roll it or Fold it?? (Tonneau Covers)

I have the OEM rolling. I did not realize that you could do that initial "break" and then roll the thing up for probably the first four months of ownership. I had been folding it the entire time thinking, "damn this is pretty stupid." Come to realize I was pretty stupid.
  4. Anyone Trade or Sell Recently?

Curious if anyone on here has tried selling or trading in their JT with the current health and economic situation at hand. I realize this is a tall ask as if you did let your JT loose, I doubt you'd still be on here. I know @WXman had changed over to the Ram side, but I think he got out before...
  5. Rugged Ridge Max Terrain Fenders

I do like those (and Quake’s if it weren’t so much more expensive), but it seems like the Rugged Ridge offering will let you keep the factory liner with some trimming. I think you need a new liner with the other guys, but I’m sure you could do some creative trimming to make those work with OEM...
  6. Rugged Ridge Max Terrain Fenders

I think I’d rather retain my factory fenders and wait for them to release the light system as a stand-alone chop offering.
  7. What did you do WITH your Gladiator today?

And hauled some mulch today. Some hostas and lantana are on deck.
  8. What did you do WITH your Gladiator today?

Ripped up about 15 shrubs and brought ā€˜em to the street to be turned into free mulch! Pictures show an in progress and then after. Previous owners were starving this poor Japanese Maple!
  9. Another day another Truck of the Year award [Rocky Mountain Automotive Press Association]

Looks like @smoverland made the article’s picture section :movember:
  10. Irregular Rear Rotor Contact Wear

It’s a very welcomed change to what I’m used to. Definitely bringing in some cash to buy the guys lunch when the parts come in.
  11. Irregular Rear Rotor Contact Wear

The skinny of the story is that my calipers were full of sand. Not overly happy about that considering I haven’t done any extreme wheeling; never been stuck or anything close to it. I’ve definitely been on some sand, but I’m in Florida; of course! Not really sure what this will mean in the long...
  12. RSI Smartcap

Ooo I like it! In the original post, it says that the "commercial" version is less than half the price of the one with windows. Does that just mean a totally solid side with no access? Meaning something without a hinge or anything. Or just a metal panel in place of a window but still hinged...
  13. Panhandle Area

Out in East Tallahassee. Make it out towards Defuniak, Mariana, Destin, etc every once in a while.
  14. Irregular Rear Rotor Contact Wear

I'm heading in for my first oil change and tire rotation in a couple hours. Having them look at the rear brakes to see what's going on. I mean, the truck has been off road, but some super mild stuff that I put the lockers on and all just to say I pushed the buttons at this point. Truck has...
  15. Irregular Rear Rotor Contact Wear

I’d say it gets driven once every two days on average. That ā€œdriveā€ ranges from pulling up some shrubs in the yard to a trip to the store, but brakes being used regardless. I noticed it a few days back but only snapped the pictures yesterday. It’s probably had 50 or so miles on it since I...
  16. Irregular Rear Rotor Contact Wear

Well that’s a bummer! Especially on something that has <7k miles on it with no heavy off-roading. Just some sandy trails here in the panhandle and a trip in north Georgia my company car could get through. Is anyone else having this issue? I’ve had it happen in some high performance cars under...
  17. Irregular Rear Rotor Contact Wear

Was taking a peek at the brakes while washing the JTR today and noticed that the contact of rear caliper/pad to rotor did not look right. Took a peek at the opposing side and then noticed that it was even more irregular. Front rotors appear to have full contact, but why are the rears not making...
  18. Yard Work

No power rakes or the like that I’ve been able to find anywhere near here to rent unfortunately :( Want to rent their aerator, but will have to rent one of their trailers since wife can’t help me lift it out of the bed and neighbors are (rightfully) cautious for distancing since I’m in healthcare.
  19. Yard Work

Just finished dethatching the yard by hand. No Jeep used, but 811 is taking their time on getting the yard marked for shrub pulls. First and last time I’ll be doing that without some horsepower. Up next is aerator. Soil is just a little too dry, so I’ll water today and try it again tomorrow if...
  20. Yard Work

I’ve got my 30ft tow strap that I’ll be using in the upcoming days to get rid of a lot of shrubs once 811 finishes up. I’ve been working hard on my St. Augustine (hand raked yesterday to dethatch now that the oaks have stopped dropping their leaves), so I’m hoping I can get by without too much...
