  1. 1 Ton and 40"s JTRD

We ordered a set of method 706 tires with +25mm offset and 5 Delium Terra Raider MT 37x12.5r17 tires for the next modification. They are pretty lightweight tires for their size, but I would end up having to swap out the wheels after I lifted the jeep. It did pretty well with 37s on the stock...
  2. 1 Ton and 40"s JTRD

The next thing I did to the jeep was swap out the factory halogen lights for LEDs. It was cheaper to buy used parts on marketplace and do it myself, than it was to pay for the factory LEDs. I went with refurbished Oracle tail lights and they have held up well so far. The led turn signals were...
  3. 1 Ton and 40"s JTRD

After one night at Kartchner Caverns State Park in AZ, we continued on towards Patagonia Lake for some fishing and paddle boarding. The EcoDiesel was doing a great job towing the trailer and would hold 8th gear up some steeper grades than I thought it would. If you tow a lot, 33in tires are...
  4. 1 Ton and 40"s JTRD

Nice setup! You are going to love the diet! Mine is so much fun to drive now after a stage 2 tune.
  5. 1 Ton and 40"s JTRD

So back in Dec 2023, I took advantage of the discounts offered on gladiators and wound up getting my Sarge Green Ecodiesel for 23% off MSRP ($51k before tt&l). Carvana bought my 2020 gator sport s for $31k, which allowed me to put a decent sized down payment on the diesel gladiator. I had the...
  6. TOWING. First trip out.

That's actually pretty good mileage while towing that setup. Most people get 10-12mpg with the 3.6. When I had my sport gladiator on 33s, I would average about that while towing our FR Wildwood Toy hauler (3200lbs empty, 4500lbs loaded up with a dirt or adventure bike). Our JTRD towed...
  7. 33% off this RC Gladiator

Do you have a 3D printer? This one looks similar: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/gadget/scx24-axial-jeep-gladiator-camper
  8. 33% off this RC Gladiator

Just be careful guys, they multiply like crazy!
  9. DPF Failure @ 27k Miles

I used the Jscan app to activate the regen cycle and it took about 10 mins to burn everything off. It was the only time it happened to me, but I did not want to deal with it again so the Jeep went on a diet.
  10. DPF Failure @ 27k Miles

I had the same issue on my trip to Colorado last year. I had to pull over and do a forced regen and it seemed to fix the issue. I was towing my toy hauler and it was July in NM.
  11. Clayton Overland Plus vs Metalcloak Gamechanger - with towing

This is our favorite spot in Moab at the moment.
  12. Clayton Overland Plus vs Metalcloak Gamechanger - with towing

Thank you! The photos are all from different trips. Colorado was so beautiful and we did all the passes except Black Bear (my family didn't want to do it). The lake is 2 hours from us and we beach camp there frequently and of course Moab every year we can.
  13. Clayton Overland Plus vs Metalcloak Gamechanger - with towing

I went with the Clayton 2.5" overland+ kit for my Ecodiesel. It was nice that everything came as one complete package ready to put on. After reading about people using airbags on other lifts when towing, I decided to get the Clayton lift and HD springs. The ride is great on road and off-road...
  14. My County is Not Testing Diesels Anymore. Stage 1 or Stage 2?

Idk if I would tow 9000lbs with the gladiator. My plan is to eventually buy a used 2500 or 3500 diesel truck to haul all my toys around.
  15. My County is Not Testing Diesels Anymore. Stage 1 or Stage 2?

It is a naturenest clamshell I bought a year ago for $1400 shipped. It's been through hells Revenge in Moab and more and has held up well. I can make a separate post about it with more details if you would like?
  16. My County is Not Testing Diesels Anymore. Stage 1 or Stage 2?

The turnaround time was faster than I expected from Mrtuning. Ordered it March 31st, they received my cloned ECU on April 7th and I had everything to my door by April 21st. Not bad at all. I can say for sure there is a very noticable improvement in power and throttle response. I opted for the...
  17. So, what is everybody towing?

We had a 3.6 sport for 4 years and it always felt like it was working hard. Now we have a JTRD and just have to worry about it overheating 😆. The toy hauler is 3200lbs empty and about 4800lbs loaded down. It is easier to tow with the diesel even on 37s.
  18. Eco diesel delete

Here's another sound clip with the stock muffler. My wife was not expecting the black smoke and neither was I! 😆
  19. Eco diesel delete

To be fair, EOC just refunded me a few hours after I emailed them (minus a $25 admin fee). So I am going to drive around with the stock exhaust for a while and then maybe get the MBRP axle back.
  20. Eco diesel delete

Right!? He was also better with answering my questions and the SOTF map is the same price as a single map tune, not up-charged by EOC.
