I have some of that too! The Dona Ana mountains have sharp rocks
  2. 2027 Jeep Gladiator Sarge Announced 🪖

    Desert pinstripes 😅
  3. 2027 Jeep Gladiator Sarge Announced 🪖

My sarge green gladiator has been the easiest to scratch jeep we've ever had. It also proudly shows off those scratches because of the high contrast between the dark top coat and grey primer underneath. 😣
  4. What did you do WITH your Gladiator today?

My pug and I hit up the lake for some fishing and camping, then we did a little exploring on the way home.
  5. Sh!ts Crazy right now and $2.99/Gallon E85 in California is looking pretty good

I stopped daily driving my jeeps after college. The motorcycles I've owned usually get 50+ mpg (premium, unfortunately). They are faster on the dirt roads too, which lets me explore more. You're just exposed to the elements at all times, and crashing sucks 😆
  6. evo 32 gal fueltank

Yup, I got all excited then clicked on the link. The first sentence is "Does not fit eacodiesel" 😅
  7. Windshield Washer Reservoir Relocation - Diesel

Thank you for reminding me, I did not have time to link the parts used when I started the thread. 3 Quart tank: US Plastics Radiator Hose: Autozone Original Thread on JL Forums: JL Forums I did cut a few inches off the lower part of the filler neck so I could use it to connect the radiator...
  8. Windshield Washer Reservoir Relocation - Diesel

So I saw the original idea on the JL Wrangler forum and decided to post up my experience with this mod here. If you install aftermarket inner fenders on the diesel most of the time they require you to relocate the the windshield washer fluid reservoir and I did not feel like paying $250 for...
  9. Which Auxiliary Switch Control for the EcoDiesel?

Old thread, but I just installed the voswitch jl400 over the fuse box. After I hooked up the fuse tap for switched power of course.
  10. Does Jeep purposely design their vehicles to get 19 mpg?

My old sport would average 17mpg on 33's. My current ecodiesel averages that on 40s and 2.5 inches of lift, in town. It can still get into the 20s on the HWY if I keep it at 70mph.
  11. What aftermarket fender liners to get?

I have not managed to hit up an RTI ramp yet, but the clearance with the inner fenders and kbd plastic fenders might allow me to take half an inch or more off my front and rear bump stops.
  12. What aftermarket fender liners to get?

I like their normal inner fenders as well. The bolts they included are 3/4" but they were too long IMHO. I cut them down with my grinder so they didn't rub.
  13. What aftermarket fender liners to get?

Or you could keep 1 Jt on 40's with a spare set of 37's (or 38's) for commuting and towing. Then 1 work truck for work stuff. I plan on doing that eventually, but the mileage hit wasn't as bad with the diesel engine. I still see 20+ mpg on the hwy.
  14. What aftermarket fender liners to get?

These 40s measure 39.1" mounted on the jeep at 27psi which is pretty nice for ground clearance.
  15. For Me, No More Wheeling at Large Events

Interesting, I was hoping you were going to say they were under 10psi. I have the method 701 wheels with similar bead grip tech and they have been good for me down to 7psi. Granted I have not taken them on a trail like the last stand, yet. I might take a look a the Icon rebound pro wheel...
  16. What aftermarket fender liners to get?

The motobilt inner fenders for 40s required trimming the body, but it was worth it to clear the 40s on a 2.5 in lift.
  17. For Me, No More Wheeling at Large Events

Oh I meant to ask, what air pressure were you running when the beads popped off? I was thinking of getting a set of teraflex nomad wheels, but your story has me second guessing. I might just bite the bullet and get a set of beadlocks.
  18. What did you do WITH your Gladiator today?

Took an alternate road home from our property in the mountains and did a little exploring. I found a fun little rock formation for an impromptu belly drag.
  19. For Me, No More Wheeling at Large Events

Holy crap! This is the thread that just keeps on dishing out content! I was hooked once Jeremy replied and I am glad @WILDHOBO and him were able to talk it out like men. Then the lite brite only fans bomb which was news to me and then the troll getting banned for obviously being a troll! Wow...
