Interesting, I was hoping you were going to say they were under 10psi. I have the method 701 wheels with similar bead grip tech and they have been good for me down to 7psi. Granted I have not taken them on a trail like the last stand, yet.14ish. To be fair, I’ve had them for years, and down to 10 wheeling, and this was the very first time. It happened, but it didn’t make me want to go out and buy Beadlocks. Did I consider it? I did. And maybe someday, but they’d need to be pretty light. I certainly wasn’t mad at the wheels. Just part of the day I guess.
I might take a look a the Icon rebound pro wheel since they are a little lighter, but that is another new tech that has not been proven as much.
The KMC beadlocks I am eyeing are 8lbs heavier a wheel, which might be worth it on the really hard trails.
