My sarge green gladiator has been the easiest to scratch jeep we've ever had. It also proudly shows off those scratches because of the high contrast between the dark top coat and grey primer underneath. 😣
I stopped daily driving my jeeps after college. The motorcycles I've owned usually get 50+ mpg (premium, unfortunately). They are faster on the dirt roads too, which lets me explore more.
You're just exposed to the elements at all times, and crashing sucks 😆
Thank you for reminding me, I did not have time to link the parts used when I started the thread.

I did cut a few inches off the lower part of the filler neck so I could use it to connect the radiator...
So I saw the original idea on the JL Wrangler forum and decided to post up my experience with this mod here.
If you install aftermarket inner fenders on the diesel most of the time they require you to relocate the the windshield washer fluid reservoir and I did not feel like paying $250 for...
My old sport would average 17mpg on 33's. My current ecodiesel averages that on 40s and 2.5 inches of lift, in town. It can still get into the 20s on the HWY if I keep it at 70mph.
I have not managed to hit up an RTI ramp yet, but the clearance with the inner fenders and kbd plastic fenders might allow me to take half an inch or more off my front and rear bump stops.
I like their normal inner fenders as well. The bolts they included are 3/4" but they were too long IMHO. I cut them down with my grinder so they didn't rub.
Or you could keep 1 Jt on 40's with a spare set of 37's (or 38's) for commuting and towing. Then 1 work truck for work stuff. I plan on doing that eventually, but the mileage hit wasn't as bad with the diesel engine. I still see 20+ mpg on the hwy.
Interesting, I was hoping you were going to say they were under 10psi. I have the method 701 wheels with similar bead grip tech and they have been good for me down to 7psi. Granted I have not taken them on a trail like the last stand, yet.
I might take a look a the Icon rebound pro wheel...
Oh I meant to ask, what air pressure were you running when the beads popped off? I was thinking of getting a set of teraflex nomad wheels, but your story has me second guessing. I might just bite the bullet and get a set of beadlocks.
Took an alternate road home from our property in the mountains and did a little exploring.
I found a fun little rock formation for an impromptu belly drag.
Holy crap! This is the thread that just keeps on dishing out content! I was hooked once Jeremy replied and I am glad @WILDHOBO and him were able to talk it out like men. Then the lite brite only fans bomb which was news to me and then the troll getting banned for obviously being a troll! Wow...
