If I was riding on the wrong calibration will it hurt my transmission? Or anything for that matter. I was programmed at 32.75 for my 285/70/17 and left it for a while. I realized that my shift points seemed happier at the measurement of the actual tire 31.5. Can that hurt anything?
Looking to see if this is normal/ anybody experienced this.
1. in 4wd high I tested on road at low speed, at a stop it vibrates like crazy.
2. in park and I give a little bit of gas there is a metal type sound unsure if it’s under or in engine and the rpm will drop down as I’m lightly applying gas
While at idle I have 0 misfires according to JScan. While driving I have some at all cylinders but #2 had over 20 and #3 had over 40 the rest where under 15. Is this a normal count?
I have a stumble/shake on starts and idles. I read besides ignition components a bad battery can cause this. Does anybody know the proper voltages at idle?
I reset my tire size and want to have the trans relearn the shift points. Will the adaptive pcm/transmission learn on its own or is there other steps I have to take? I’ve asked this before but never got a solid answer.
I was reading that dealers have been putting 6 instead of 5 quarts, nothing new I guess. I checked my invoice out of curiosity today and sure enough 6 quarts. I had it drained today for 5. It’s been almost 3000 miles would this be enough to damage anything or foul spark plugs?
Has anybody seen the throttle body recall for 21-22 gladiators. It says it effects the throttle position sensor and can cause a check engine light that will cap your speed at 25. Has anybody ever had this experience? I’ve never seen it
Can somebody tell me what color wires are the negative and positive for the speakers? I put all new speakers in yesterday. The front seems fine but the sound bar seems weak as if i have the polarities switched somewhere
