  1. Broken tab/weld on Mojave Frame..No Warranty???

I ask because I noticed mine are both cracked. I messaged with a guy yesterday and he is going to squeeze me in this week to repair it. I had not planned to even bother with the dealership due to MM, time, and wanting it done right. Plus, I am going to talk the guy I am taking it to about a re...

  3. Lift questions for Mojave

I have ordered from Northridge a number of times and never had an issue. I will edit this to say that I had one issue but it was actually Rancho’s fault. Northridge and Rancho both took care of the issue.
  4. Reaching out to those doing their own shock tuning?

The coils are pretty available. There is a shop in Asheville that installs them frequently. Jeremy with @813 Fabrication & Design recently put them on his JT. I would need to get them powdercoated, I could not rock the sea foam green.
  5. Alu-Cab Canopy Camper

I sold 28 bottles of Napa cult cab to pay for the camper and awning. The rest of mods came from out of pocket. I am an engineer in real life and my wife is in education. Good salaries and no kids.
  6. Rokblokz Mud Flap Help Needed

I just use the fronts on our JLR and JTM, no need for rears like @ecidiego said.
  7. JScan Question

With the JSCAN, our 2018 JLR operates fine with the bypass cable not plugged back in on both ends. Our JTM rear camera will not work if it is not plugged in. I bought the extension for both and keep them plugged in now.
  8. Lift questions for Mojave

I had a JKS lift installed around March/April of 2021 but kept the OEM shocks until I replaced the rears in December 2021.
  9. Lift questions for Mojave

That is a fine question. The shop owner has them on his JTRD and we discussed putting them on the Mojave but he may not have realized it was different. When they lifted it they used the stock shocks with the JKS coils so no fitment issues. I will have to discuss it with the shop I plan to...
  10. Lift questions for Mojave

I currently have a JKS and am not thrilled with it. I am not sure how much is the lift and how much is the amount of weight I am carrying, but the shop knew the weight when they recommended the lift. I am probably going to Dobinson coils soon and Fox Elite 2.5s on the front (already have the...
  11. Lift questions for Mojave

Any chance it can be recorded? I would love to call in but will be camping and not sure if I will have a signal.
  12. Reaching out to those doing their own shock tuning?

They are about 2.5 hours from my house. I think I am going to try the Dobinson coils and see how it does and then will contact them. Hopefully i can take it there and have them do it while I wait. thanks for the recommendation.
  13. Alu-Cab Canopy Camper Roll Call

i believe the guys from OK 4WD go and I know the guys from AVO went last year.
  14. Alu-Cab Canopy Camper Roll Call

i have not had that problem. There was a time that there was morning dew on the camper and when I came to a stop it poured down on my wife’s head. She was not happy, but laughed it off.
  15. Alu-Cab Canopy Camper Roll Call

It is not bad, but admittedly I rarely drive it on the interstate with the tops off. It is usually more around town and off-road.
  16. Alu-Cab Canopy Camper Roll Call

I would love to have a fairing or rack there but need to be able to remove the panels to keep my wife happy.
  17. Alu-Cab Canopy Camper Roll Call

Interesting solution. Now that you have that, you might as well mount some lights to it. Can you still open the top? I really wanted to get a sun rider top to replace the freedom panels but between you and Jeremy commenting on the turbulence and noise, I guess I will keep my panels.
  18. Reaching out to those doing their own shock tuning?

I am willing to spend a fare amount to make it ride right and luckily I can afford it. I just wish I had spent more time selecting the lift and had not just accepted what the shop suggested. I am switching to a different shop and if they can get slightly stiffer coils to go with my JKS lift, I...
  19. Reaching out to those doing their own shock tuning?

The funny thing about me not thinking about tuning the shocks until now is that I had it done on my mountain bikes almost 20 years ago. I really thing my coils are more the issue than the shocks, but I am not sure. I know it is not going to ride perfect because of the load I carry, but I just...
