But if you could change anything what would it be? And what types of upgrades should I be considering to be first on the list I'm more leaning towards the max tow currently
Now I guess what types of upgrades are people doing to increase performance of the pentastar someone earlier mentioned SC but I don't think that seems right in this setup
Just spouse and I. We think we have settled though on a 4800 lb trailer with a 490 tongue weight from what I've read and gathered that gives me 700lbs for payload and about 1700 lbs before max towing is reached to me this sounds doable but I'm new to the towing game so I could be completely...
I think good points are being made for both sides, I do respect the fact that the max tow was pretty much made to be the towing one, but I've also seen that people who swapped from max tow to the diesel enjoy the diesel more.
And I've found a few 4500-4800 camper trailers I thought were pretty...
Yeah you're not wrong I was wanting to stay around 4500 at most because hitch weight and payload capacity. I think that's better stick with the diesel want and find a good trailer around 4500 lbs instead of going max tow
It still seems to be a common question that can't be decided upon, It does seem that a general consensus that the diesel feels better towing so maybe I can just find a similar quality trailer that's down I'm weight a little bit
I'm having issues deciding between the eco diesel in a willys trim or max tow,
Arguments for I really want a diesel
Arguments against we are looking at a 5200 lb trailer dry and its really pushing that weight capacity for the diesel tow rating.
Thoughts for and against?
Should we go with...
I think that's why I'm looking into the ox lockers seems to have the least amount of failure points, if it fails you just replace the cable from my understanding of it.
And yeah Detroit lockers are amazing but this will also be a daily driver for me so not looking to have it always locked up...
i have not bought yet. On deployment right now and looking to get it when I get back. Ive been really eyeing doing the diesel so regardless if it is willys or rubi itll be the 3.73 if i remember correctly. And youre not wrong having the on board air is nice, especially since i plan on adding it...
Im trying to save some money by going with a willy's and then upgrading lockers and such instead of the extra 5k or so for a rubi.... that being said what types of lockers are people liking? im kinda interested in doing an OX locker for the rear but im not very well versed in lockers as it is...
This might be a repeat but hard to find info on.
I'm looking at getting an ecodiesel and I'm torn between just getting a rubi or budget smart and doing the willys.
I remember reading at some point in time that the diesel in the willys came with front and rear Dana 44s can anyone comment on...
