Thank you for this.
where are the torque specs for the differentials? I even called the dealer, they couldn't find it. THe service advisor asked a tech that has worked there 14 years, he said 20 is the answer.
can anyone confirm?
second flip will touch the bar. If i need to keep it open im sure a strap wrapped around it would work fine. In my case i hardly ever need it open like that.
I get what you are trying to say, though I'm pretty sure not everyone driving a jeep crawls with it nor are they worried about center of gravity. This isn't a mod I would be doing, it is however very cool given the options out there. Would be better as a pop up for venting heat and such.
If your jeep is on its roof you did something wrong. Though you likely have a great story.
why would you have a glass roof in rock crawling anyways? It is removable lol
I agree it needs more than what they offer. It is an absolutely cool innovation. for sure better than those clear plastic freedom tops i've seen. It DEFINITELY needs a retractable screen of some sort.
I wasn't planning to buy one, but it is very cool to see this kind of innovation.
Yeah it definitely needs a darker ceramic tint or a collapsible/ retractable screen.
My gf has a cherokee limited with the full glass roof, Never had an issue dripping.
I do agree, the bag should be included...
I just picked up some Scrubblade brand from wal mart. its a dual blade wiper with little nubs. I can only guess the nubs are to scrub bugs. No complaints they went through an icy winter in NY with no issues.
Saw a video from @dirtroadcred
It’s actually glass!
yeowza that’s a rusty really cool!

i am fairly sure the firearm stuff is different than the vehicle stuff. same company afaik.
I've never used the firearm stuff, but i have heard great things. It has rained about every other day since i did this to my truck. if i get a decent day I'll post some updated pics. It looks as good...
as I said, it lasted over 4 years on my Cherokee. Stuff is super legit. Just don’t get it on paint or your hands. If it fails contact them, they’ll send you a new bag.
heh might be a few weeks but yeah I will post pics. Mine is a 23' so who knows what setup i have in there.
can i use electric parts cleaner instead of brake parts cleaner? Should be safe to just let loose with that ?
any way to clean out the housing? Just wipe out with a lint free cloth(Shop towels?) id like to make sure there no metal fuzz lingering.
If i covered up the sensor with a ziplock and then sprayed would that work? I have to pop it off to clean that magnet there(post above).
i haven't seen them directly though as I Understand it line up the covers and cut a line in the dipstick to mark factory level?
what am I Looking at for fluid capacity? Cant find much info. im guessing about 1.5 quarts each pumpkin?
I'd planned to just spray the crap out of it with brake cleaner, but i will pull that bolt out and wipe that off too thanks!
any recommendations on gear oil brand?
I just want to say, filling up at half tank will GREATLY increase the life of your fuel pump. The fuel actually keeps the pump cooler. When the pump is not submerged it will suck in more air and get hotter.
So, that said don't worry about how many miles you have left, refill your tank! LOL...
Im over 20k so its time to change the fluids in the front and rear diff.
I have a 23 rubicon The window sticker say i have tru- lock front and rear.
Im looking at the ARB diff covers for the m210/220 (are these pretty decent? They look beefy as hell, bonus -drainplug!)
