You could probably pull them out by hand they look like they may be thin enough when separated. I would get them out before driving. They could bounce and pinch in the coils. Just don't try to jump the truck before you get them reinstalled. Or you could attempt to reinstall yourself.
Tough call. How bad do you want it gone? How far are you willing to drive to meet up? I'm looking for a white hard top myself. I'm in PA though, so that would be a ride and half for me. I could set up freight shipping, but then more money. Do you have a price in mind. I dont want to offend you...
Personally I would just go with the chip fill. Just had my wifes done and you cant even tell there was a chip to begin with. The phone thing is no big issue like people said above. Although the dealer should have factory reset the head unit before the sold it. Its just dealers being lazy.

So just to share my ongoing experience. Jeep pulls to the right, like the computer is telling it to. Steel steering box, 2.5" lift, fox shocks, 285/75r18 Falken WP AT3, 3 different stabilizers (OEM, Fox, Teraflex) Teraflex i liked the best, Fox has a positive pressure & shaft always want to push...
my OEM steering damper had a dead spot. I took it off and fully extended it, started to compress it manually by hand. Resistance, resistance, resistance, air pocket no resistance for about 3/4", then back to resistance.
I'm convinced that the steel box needs new and adjusted steering parameters via programming. Its like they they have been using the same code for the steel box as they designed for the aluminum box.

id like to see an upgrade also. My 21 has the steel box but its pulls to the right consistently. getting tired of having to always steer left. Just went in for alignment yesterday and they say all is in spec.
I don't intiate the wave anymore. I'm done with it. I'll wave back, but that's all. Def not gonna get offended if someone doesn't wave. Wranglers/Gladiators are just to common nowadays.
Just to update this post. I installed 1" wheel spacers and it's a no go. Even though the pockets are deep enough, the factory studs don't center into the pocket. They sit to the outer edge of the pocket and scrape. So even though you could mash them in there, I wouldn't believe this to be a...
I measured the pocket depth on the stock overland wheels and its 3/4" deep. So taking in consideration the stock stud length while adding 1" spacer should leave you with about 1/8" of space left over inside the pockets. So 1" wheel spacers should work. You could even grind down the stock studs...
