37" Nitto Ridge Grappler on 17x8.5 Method 701 did not fit for me. Aired down to 18psi and still no go. Not enough room between hitch and trackbar. The hitch seems to protrude into the spare tire area quite a bit.
Disconnected my front driveshaft, axle side, to be able to lower the axle far enough to install springs. Been trying to find the torque spec on those four bolts?
What are you setting your rear lower control arm length to with the 3.5" GC? MC calls out 23.75" which is the same length as the factory arm. I know MC states that their dimensions are just a starting point but just wanted to see what people were setting their arms to. I would think that the...
Considering Cooper STT Pros 37x12.5.17 and trying to get an idea of what to expect for tread life? Daily driver / weekend off roading. Many of my internet searches are showing results for 1/2 & 3/4 ton full size pickups which doesn't really translate to the Gladiator.
How does MC Gamechanger 3.5" compare to Clayton's Overland Plus 3.5" ? Metalcloak has Duraflex bushings and Clayton has Giiro bushings. MC claims their bushings are maintenance free and Clayton also claims their bushings are maintenance free. I feel Clayton's arms are probably stronger...
Nitto Ridge Grapplers are one of the tires I'm considering in size 37x12.5x17. All the other tires I'm considering have a 3 ply sidewall and the Nitto's only have a 2 ply. Are the Nitto sidewalls less durable and resistant to punctures than a 3 ply would be?
Not at all interested in an electric vehicle due to environmental impact of manufacturing and disposing of the batteries. I certainly wouldn't want to be 8 hrs out on a trail and need a charge. Many runs here are 12hr days.
This past weekend was out and in parts of the trail there brush rubbing along the body. My 17 JKUR was all pinstriped. I'd like to prevent or minimize that from happening to the JT.
So I stopped in a place that specializes in window tents and 3M bras. They've done Jeeps in 3M and said it works...
I heard the 2' Mopar lift is made by Teraflex. (Of course the shocks aren't) I knew in the past some of the Mopar lifts were rwbranded Teraflex. Is this still.the case?
Do any of the programmers allow one to disconnect the electronic sway bar in 2 high? Evo offers a conversion that changes the sway bar from electronic to manual.
Many times I want to run disconnected just for the better ride off road but don't need to be in 4wd.
