I built this rack originally as a roof rack for my Suzuki Samurai. I made some cross bars out of aluminum so I could mount the rack just above the bed for extra storage. It’s nice when you can repurpose something like that.

Sorry for the confusion. About 17 MPG on the highway but that’s going 68-70 versus when I towed I stayed at 55 mph.

I would be interested to drive one with a manual to see what it is like. I think I'm too spoiled now though with the 8 speed auto.

Took the truck exploring last weekend in Pozo, CA. Found a few good hill climbs. Brought my wifes KLX 110L. It was really nice to be able to haul the bike and take the truck on some trails.

Took the truck out for some exploring and had a blast. Took the KLX110L for the wife to ride. Gladiator Exploring
