  1. 2021 Synergy Steering Brace Version 2.0 Better than ever

I was thinking the same thing... that certainly doesn't look like contact from a spring. The spring has way too large of a radius to get into that corner... plus the scratch marks look way too narrow to be rub from a spring.
  2. Lone Star Jeep Invasion

Also... what part of town are you in? I'm on the Northwest Side.
  3. Lone Star Jeep Invasion

I didn't know this was going on... I'm going to try and make it up there!
  4. Who is going to Easter Jeep Safari?

I thought they killed again this year...
  5. Cancelled my Bronco Reservation Today!

I've had 3 Broncos in the past and I was all in on this one... but when I found out it was based on the Ranger, I started having my doubts. Then I started looking at the Gladiators and started thinking, "Hmmm... a nicer version of my JKU and it's got a bed...", and the wife's response was "Do...
  6. Mojave Folks or anyone else that wants to chime in... How fast is too fast?!

I think it's 14" of overall travel up front... but I'd be willing to bet it's less than 6" up travel.
  7. GMRS License

Haha... I lost ALL my radios in a boating accident.
  8. GMRS License

From what I understand, it's just about knowing how many/who is using it. BUT... my guess is that since it's FCC regulated and you've got a specific call sign and you are on there doing nefarious things, they want to know who you are.
  9. Tazer JL Mini 11.2.6 Beta 5 Firmware UPDATE!!!

Well shit... I guess I gotta go get the thing out of truck now...
  10. Can't add gas, fuel flap door is stuck

I thought that at first... but he said he couldn't get it to move with a flathead. That doesn't make sense.
  11. What up with Jeep

I don't disagree with you at all... I just think the logic behind it is flawed. If this forum was mine, and it's not, I'd let people say whatever they want. I'd love to have people expose themselves for the jackwagons they are. Also, this feeling may come from past experiences with forums. I've...
  12. What up with Jeep

I understand what you're trying to say... the difference, however, is that someone wearing shoes in a place where it's unwarranted can cause issues that need to be resolved (stained carpets, torn up hard wood, mud on the tile) and there is no amendment in the US constitution protecting the right...
  13. Nobody waves anymore.

I live right on the Spring/Houston line and I will agree with this... probably 90% of the time, I get waves back.
  14. Retro inspired JL build - YJL by Quadratec

Oh, 100% they are still a Wrangler. There is nothing wrong with them at all, other than the headlights and that is 100% a personal opinion thing.
  15. What up with Jeep

What's your point? This one is as good as any.
  16. Retro inspired JL build - YJL by Quadratec

If I was forced to answer honestly... not cool at all! HAHA! I am 100% a square headlight hater. I've tried to convince myself to get over it but I just can't. The only good thing about a YJ is that you can get them for cheap and you don't have to feel bad about turning them into a buggy with a...
  17. Did you buy your JT because of the bed or for towing???

Definitely the 'Wrangler with a bed' factor. Hauling an adventure trailer with a Wrangler is sick... but the bed option essentially takes that trailer and throws it on the ass end of your frame.
  18. Dealership advertising on your Jeep.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that feels like this... I HATE having free advertising on the back of my vehicles. Typically the very first thing I do when I get a vehicle is take them off.
  19. Those running Cooper STT 37s ... what say you ??

Agreed... you can definitely hear them... but for an MT with that aggressive of a tread pattern, they are very quiet.
  20. Those running Cooper STT 37s ... what say you ??

I don't have them on my JTR (yet) but I had them on my JKU. 37x12.5-17 Cooper STT Pro. I absolutely loved them. Balanced super easy, real quiet (for a mud tire, you could barely hear them), were super sticky off-road and performed well in the wet. Honestly, I couldn't find a fault for them if...
