  1. Leaking axle seal?

Womp. Was really hoping I'd be one of the lucky ones. Noticed this last night. 1000km (600mi). I had 37s on for a week, maybe a couple hundred kilometers. I was swapping the stock tires back onto it and found this. Driver side rear axle leak. Built October 2021.
  2. Lift questions for Mojave

Huh? I just meant the better suspension, beefier frame, hydraulic bumps tops, big-nostril hood. All Jeeps have weak links.
  3. Hmmmmmmmmm ... Justin Case .............. Make sure you document?

Is that a Ram thing? My JTRD has a manual.
  4. Lift questions for Mojave

I just wish Jeep made a diesel Mojave. Dangit Jeep, why you gotta be like that?
  5. Lift questions for Mojave

^this is absolutely the correct answer imo
  6. Lift questions for Mojave

Do NOT swap the Mojave suspension for Skyjacker. The mojave suspension is far superior. You'd be better off putting a small spacer (say, Teraflex 1.5 up front, .75 in the rear), adding shock extensions to the front, and installing the 35s. I know you said not to come here and tell you to keep...
  7. Project Reverse Mullet

Well, if there's 3/4" of space with a 37" tire, theoretically, you should have 1/4" of space with a 38" tire. It's an extra 1/2" all the way around, not 1".
  8. Why didn't Jeep foresee my stupidity?

Lol, that's a great thread title
  9. Another CAI Option

Fair, but, peak might be 20, and at 2800, but what is the difference throughout the rpm range? What is it where you normally drive?
  10. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Oil in a diesel engine gets very dark very quickly. It's not the same as a gas engine. That black colour does not mean it has broken down. No need to worry about the colour, just make sure you change on schedule, or a little ahead. But there's no need to change it early because of the colour.
  11. Another CAI Option

Yup, the 20 torques at a rpm you're never at is pretty much useless, but that turbo sound....intoxicating.
  12. Mopar rock sliders question

No. For many reasons. One, they are body mounted. You do not want to have anything mounted to both the frame and the body, as they are not a solid assembly- they move independent of each other. You would have to remove them from the body, then weld arms to them to attach them to the frame...
  13. Now the waiting begins....

Congrats!!! Guess that explains why my JTRD doesn't have a Bedliner. I bought it off the lot and couldn't figure out why it was bedlined at 76k. I would guess it's a Payload thing, to save weight. As it is, my truck only has 969 pounds of Payload.
  14. Factory 4.10's in the diesel?

Sales people are often very misinformed. Always do your own research
  15. Evo Bombers?

Well, they run 40s or bigger so their rockers are further away from the rocks than mine are. I have beat the hell outta the frame mount LODs on my jk and have held up very well. And yes, the Evo products are good, for sure, but to be honest, it's more the manner in which it mounts than the...
  16. Buying Decision Thread (DECISION MADE!)

Sounds like you really need to drive them back to back. For me, the choice was a no-brainer, I got the diesel. But I like torque, driveability, and the sound of the engine. I bought the extended warranty and plan to keep this thing forever. Here in Canada, the diesel is a $9190 option...
  17. Kermit JTRD

If you can do a that work, you can do an alignment by yourself. The only thing to adjust is to re-center the steering wheel and adjust the toe in for 37s. They're both quite easy to do. There is no caster or camber adjustment to be done on a solid axle rig
