I have the Mopar lift w/ 3/4" spacer. I put on the track bars but that was it. Didn't relocate the control arm brackets. Everything seems to be working out well. I'm still running rubi take-off 33s for now. I might also recommend upgrading the steering stabilizer. I got the fox monotube one and...

Thanks pal! Can't wait to hear how it goes. Not in stop and go traffic much but that is very helpful context. Sounds like that might be the route to go.
Congrats on the new Rubi! I may do something like that as well. Really hoping to find some folks who've done the swap and see how it's working for them.
I feel the weakest point on my JT is the clutch. Not getting into the recalls blah blah blah, but that seems to be my limiting factor for better towing, off road, etc. Someone, help me understand why not get the Centerforce dual friction upgrade? Any real world experiences out there to share?
I...
Same. I will say when I drive under those mega blowers to dry it off I will get the front/hood then scoot through to the bed pretty quickly. The tornadic winds blowing on the top like that just make me nervous. I just drive real fast on the way home to get an all natural blow dry :)
That sounds like an awesome trip! Welcome to the gladiator crew! Nice choice of options. Thats gonna be a great truck to build on. My last truck was a bone basic a work truck I could find. Crank windows never bothered me either.
Please don't. Stay and help make it better. Plus, if you move to portugal you'll get the a-holes flipping people off for drinking the "lesser" fortified wine :)
Just gonna say I love the TewlTalk YouTube channel. Great dude who gives helpful tips for the home Jeep DIYer. Didn't know you were part of the forum. While this was more of a fun video, watched and happy to support. This is not a Litebrite like channel....
Thanks! That's my dad down there with him. It was a multi-generational job. I was out working jobsites with him when I was 8 and the knowledge I gained (and bravery to take on the unfamiliar jobs) has saved me untold thousands and provided a sense of pride and self-reliance. Definitely working...
Very true. I added the spacer to help compensate for the winch that's going in next. I like the leveled look but I don't mind a little front squat a la stock.
The steps were my first add on to help kids and wife. Should done slider steps in hindsight. Really, if they get a little banged up I...
Thanks all! And great rig pics for comparison. No doubt the 35s/37s look great! I'll probably drive the 33s for a while and also see how they fare on some trails and then reassess going larger when they wear. Soon as I get a couple nice weekends I'm off to the Badlands Off-road park and then...
Sport S manual with mopar lift and daystar 3/4" front spacer. Rubi take off wheels/wildpeaks. What do y'all think? First I thought the lift would make the wheels/tires look tiny but now it's all on, kinda like it!
Planned on 35s after the lift but now I'm not so sure. Save weight, cost, don't...
Really sorry for you pal. So glad no serious injuries. Given the circumstances of the accident, I am really amazed at how well the passenger area kept intact and safe. All that in the rear end did an exceedingly good job of absorbing all that energy, albeit at the expense of totaling your rig...
Select the correct bolt pattern and I don't see why not. It states the oe size of 17x7.5 so maybe since this is 17x9 they are saying it doesn't match factory spec?
