  1. Gladiator specific cross bars & bed racks now available!

Ok... here are the final shots after getting my Yakima cargo basket installed. I didn't have to modify the attachment hardware using the brackets that came with it. I did have to slide the rear crossbar further back to accommodate the rear basket brackets. It did extend further down making it a...
  2. Gladiator specific cross bars & bed racks now available!

Looks like you use U-bolts. What size did you end up using? I may have to do the same for my Yakima cargo basket.
  3. Gladiator specific cross bars & bed racks now available!

Got mine on today too. Only had time to get the Thule bike rack installed. I had to use the channel bolts through the slots to secure it to the bars. I'll have to try tomorrow to see if my basket will install without modifications or jimmy-rigging something. By the time I called it a day, it...
  4. Gladiator specific cross bars & bed racks now available!

Nice. Didn't realize they hung out that much, but I think that's a plus for me. Can you still roll-up the cover without removing the cross-bars? I opted for the special tool vs the knob-screws for a little more anti-theft deterrence. I may attempt to install this weekend if it doesn't snow...
  5. Winter driving tips?

Confidence is improving, but still cautious. The weather has been pretty wild though. last weekend we broke snowfall and high temp records on the same day. Wednesday and it's over 40 + degrees this morning, so unplowed streets are nice and slippery. Having 200+ lbs of sandbags in the rear seem...
  6. Gladiator specific cross bars & bed racks now available!

I have a Thule mtn rack where you don't remove the front tire. It has a arm/clamp that grabs the down-tube, and ratchet straps around tires. I haven't tried to install it yet since it's winter, but I'm hoping it works. The mounting brackets have some adjustment, and I was able to fit them...
  7. Winter driving tips?

I've had BFG' KO2's for 3 separate vehicles in Alaska, and prior to that I've been doing the swaps to studded tires or blizzaks. I haven't done the tire swaps since getting the KO2's, and I've been pretty successful keeping out of the ditches or losing control (knock on wood) over 5 seasons or...
  8. Gladiator specific cross bars & bed racks now available!

I'll probably be waiting until the end of winter to get these installed. we just had a major snow dump here in Anchorage, AK over the weekend, and it dawned on me installing these now would just make it more difficult to clear snow off the bed cover.
  9. Winter driving tips?

I was pulling 20-21mpg hwy prior to putting about 220lbs of sand bags. Now, i do about 18-19mpg. I expect it to go down further as we finally have icy-snowy covered roads, and I'll be in 4wd more often.
  10. Gladiator specific cross bars & bed racks now available!

I got the kbvoodoo bed rails this week. Now, to find time and someone with a heated garage to install it. It's cold outside :)
  11. ADD Offroad / Glover Customs Jeep Gladiator Build [SEMA 2019]

Those doors are pricey. I looked em up last night. $1300 for the fronts and $1000 for the rears... if I read it right. Hinges not included that's an extra $95+ per set. edit: corrected the pricing... still mighty expensive.

hehehe what snow! It is November and it's raining :P
  13. Gladiator specific cross bars & bed racks now available!

Well... I went ahead and ordered the crossbars. Hopefully, my Yakima basket and thule bike mount fits around the crossbars. I'll attach pics once i get everything installed. Hopefully, my friend with a nice big heated garage is available to help me get it all installed. It's getting cold around...
  14. Gladiator specific cross bars & bed racks now available!

Looks like I'll be ordering the crossbars when spring starts rolling around. I have a Yakima basket and Thule bike rack I'd like to re-use. They should fit around those crossbars, right?
  15. Winch installed

I have the same one coming from Amazon, if they ever decide to eventually ship it. almost 2 weeks and still no ship date yet. Of course, it's going to Anchorage, AK. which probably isn't doing me any favors
  16. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Nothing today and hopefully for the next few weeks. My wallet and bank account are already thanking me for the break... :giggle:
  17. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

was wondering where this thread went. Monday i had the bumper put on (RC full width LED) and 2.5" leveling kit with shocks and springs too. I wasn't planning on it initially but figured what the heck. I'll probably wait until these 33" wear out before going to 35" though.
  18. BUMPERS!

Just installed the RC full width LED bumper on Monday...
