I have a 20 ft RPod. So far, I've camped a lot of the state run campgrounds up and down from anchorage to Fairbanks, and south towards Seward and Homer. Mostly off the main hwys, so no real off-roading or very minimal required.
There are a couple spots or roads that people like to check out...
Last few upgrade done today. 2.5" RC front leveling/lift kit (shocks and springs). RC full width LED bumper.
Added KB Voodoo bed crossbars, Yakima cargo basket, and Thule bike carrier
'95 Jeep Wrangler - bare bones, not even carpet, rinky dink tires, softtop. I was poor then, all I was able to afford. Just got out of the Navy and got a civilian job. Loved and hated that vehicle.

Well this explains all the issues I've been having trying to get my Curt to work. I'm done towing for the winter, and already completely disconnected it from the system. Hopefully this is all figured out by spring.
Yeah... there is just no way to get down there to use two hands to get this installed. There are other options available. I liked the way this one looked. Otherwise, being able to rest my left foot on the d.pedal is so much more comfortable on long drives.
Installed a dead pedal bought off amazon for a wrangler jk; seems to fit, but it was a major pain to install. They must have tiny little xmas elves doing this stuff. Also installed a fire extinguisher rollbar mount in the rear passenger driver side.
So far haven't seen one on the road in and around Anchorage yet. I know there is a Rubicon in town from a friend who sent me one in her parking lot at work.
My light came on due to my trailer brake controller. It would also kick on my sway control light. Both would come on rarely after a braking action. Then, stay on all the time when I have my trailer plugged in. Currently, I unplugged the controller until spring and unplugged, the lights haven't...
I've got the mopar one. Has three mount screws under the hood, and some stick on bumpers that go on the top of the hood underneath the deflector.
First day i drove to work in the jeep, I had dozens of splats, and it felt like i had to clean it all off every time i stopped for gas. Now with the...
Just installed on my Overland without a bed liner or cargo rails. Easy install and fits great. To add, I think it's improved my gas mileage by a mile or so.
Checking in from Anchorage Alaska. Alaska is as far Northwest as you can possibly go, :) Gladiator Overland in white.
Added new wheels and tires today: Fuel D564 Beast 17"x9" - 12 offset, BFG KO2's 285/70.
SmittyBilt Beaver Tail Hitch step
Added a dead pedal i found on Amazon
After weekend trip towing my 3000+ lbs travel trailer, I decided I'll be getting some airbags for the gladiator as well. Same engine as my JGC, so pulling was just fine. It's squatted the back enough where on-coming traffic kept flashing me with their hi-beams as we drove past each other. At...
My last jeep was a Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk. Jeep Cherokee before that, a few Chrysler automobiles and a barebones Jeep Wrangler in the early 90's. Recently, had a wreck in my JGC that totaled it, and I needed a replacement ASAP. No JGC trailhawks at the available dealers in my area...
