So for those who are curious about this issue in the future, I donāt know what exactly I fixed, but I fixed it hereās what checked:
Took off airbag, steering wheel, and first plastic cover around the clock spring in front of the levers (what I was tapping on in my video above). From there I...
No not yet. I suspect once I take the cover off itāll be easier to locate. I just donāt want to dive into disconnecting the battery and pulling the whole steering wheel off my daily to get this cover off, without maybe some semblance of advice or direction at first.
Iāll be getting mine set up Monday, now my wheels and tires are a quite a bit lighter than yours (93lbs per wheel/tire), Iām going to be running an offset of -25. If I donāt develop the same issue, I doubt itās your offset. My money is on steering parts.
Hey yāall,
This is my ā22 JTRD, with only 8k miles on it so far. Almost since new, I have had this incessantly annoying rattle from inside the cover behind the steering wheel on the column. I have taken it to the dealership once, where they kept it a few days and then returned it. āUnable to...
I fell in love with a wheel that I had to have, only caveat is they are -25 offset. ? Figured if it was too much Iād just end up selling them, so I had to try at leastā¦? Haha

This seems to be a thing that no one can give a straight answer to, and itās kept me from doing any regearing. I hope someone finally gives you a straight answer, Iāll be watching!
Like the title says, Iām curious how this combo looks before I purchase it, as it looks as though rockblokz doesnāt refund the colored mudflaps. I think the red flaps on green will look nice, but I want to know for sure.
Iāve been to Jeep meets where guys will egg you for not wanting trail pin stripes, but in the same breath swear against ever using automatic washes.
All Iām saying is if youāre worried about damage from automatic washes, probably donāt want to be pinstriped on a trail either.
That being said...
Man this brings back memories. On my 21st birthday we piled into my ā88 YJ and did the trail up from hemet, then camped in that very campground.
Donāt know if they still call it this, but we hiked to the top of Suicide Rock overlooking Idyllwild below. Hiking out, we got caught in the middle of...
