  1. After market vendors who fail!

I haven't checked back in awhile to my OP. I like the product, it's beefier in some specs to the other available, Some real data instead of lawyer liability speak would go a long ways. It's not a wild jump to take what you have and place it on the ground and load it till it fails. That would...
  2. Venting

Same shit happens with the JK's and Jl's . About 1 in 3000 vehicles from a dealer I know of. Electrical gremlins for the most part. I'm really not talking hearsay as I had a 16 JKUHR that spent over 200 days in the repair shop. They practically ripped that JK apart stem to stern. Still no joy...
  3. Any JT Scuba Divers Here?

Not an answer but I was recently diving in Grand Cayman, Lots of JK's and JL's but no one had even heard of the JT. It would make a great shore dive truck for certain.
  4. Max Payloads?

1100lbs of feed in the bed. Still rake to the truck. Drove like a dream. Put the weight on the axle and forward I think you could put 1500lbs in there. Just have to remember braking distance
  5. Rubicon must haves

The AUX switches is like the dumbest thing not to add, really even if you think you wont need them, if you ever sell they be a major plus.
  6. After market vendors who fail!

I got my JTR June 1st, I'm a patient guy and I know vendors are rushing to create products for our JT's. Two things I need and want, under armor and a rack system for the bed. A good number of racks coming out. I kind of like JCR Offroad's Gladiator rack...
  7. Very Surprised! Not Really.....

Mine is pretty water tight but dust....well that's another story, it gets in there and is everywhere. I'm not bitching just saying it breathes at a smaller level than water.
  8. Wildpeak MT's vs BFG's MT

I've always been a fan of BFG tires, my farm / work F250 diesel sports BFG AT's which perform pretty well across the spectrum for its duties, snow plowing, work around the farm where traction is a must and Hwy use pulling a gooseneck stock trailer. My 16 JKURHR had the BFG MT's which I liked on...
  9. Suspension mods and correlation to owner age?

61 here and coming from a 16 JKUR with a 2" lift. I thought I would go for the 2" Mopar lift right away but after traveling some of the trails to my hunting spots ( which is why I have the JTR in the first place) I'm going to wait awhile and see how the JT does this fall. it's had no trouble...
  10. Bed Racks - Now Available

Can you buy extra side accessory panels and lateral top bars? This would make your rack very customizable and would buy one if this is an option.
  11. Bed Racks - Now Available

What is the load rating for this rack? There is nothing I can find on your web site. I would think you would include this info in your specs.
  12. Bed rack/storage for kayaks

My solution until more aftermarket stuff comes online. I don't want to commit to first gen things so I went this way utilizing what I had and and some things that have other uses down the line. I used some Thule parts from the rack I used on my 2016 JKU and a receiver rack for hauling long...
  13. I'm impressed!

Picked up a load of feed to the tune of 1100 lbs. and there was still rake to my JTR. Drove like there was nothing in back there.
  14. Who else doesn't care for the red dash on the Rubicon?

I bought a Firecracker Red Rubicon with the tan leather seats and so the dash is black. I like that so much better than the red dash Something about that dull metallic red that looks off over that large of an area. I like it down on the lockers switch but the dash not so much. I also prefer the...
  15. Thule TracRac with Trail Rails - working setup

Could you show some more in depth pics of the set up and just how it went together. what I can see in your pics and what the links shows has me baffled a bit. I have a friend higher up in the parent company to Thule and I can get a pretty deep discount through him. I just need to know exactly...
  16. Gear Display on Dashboard...How did I miss this lol?

I saw something about it in a JT towing video and searched it out. Cool feature that I like.
  17. How do Gladiators handle on the highway?

Highway handling improved quite a bit when I lowered my tire pressure to 35lbs. At 40lbs it was like I had to pay attention to staying centered in the lane as any little movement in the steering wheel caused a response in steering. Now at 35lbs it's like I really need to add a little force to...
  18. MPG and range

JT Rubicon, Stock 33's, steel XRC bumper with X20 10,000 winch so an added 140 lbs. First 1500 miles I was avg. 14-15 and then things changed and mpg steadily increased avg. 19.5 now at 3400 miles. Mix of towing an 2000 lbs boat some heavy payloads and about an equal mix of Hwy to city miles...
  19. That evil box behind the mirror

The sensors are in the box and are not attached to the windshield so I don't think there is a calibration problem here
