Yes I know about the kits that are out there I was hoping someone had actually used one and dealt with the cable length etc, and particularly what they plugged the tailgate hole with so I don't reinvent the wheel. but I don't mind doing that either
Has anyone come up with a clever way for the camera to work while the tailgate is down that continues to use the OEM backup camera active guidelines. When its down, all I see is the license plate and the buzzer going off. I don't want to resort to a 3rd party camera for this, maybe possibly a...
I would just have the dealer replace it under warranty.
If I go in for something bigger than that, then I will. But right now it's back to where it was and it will work if I need it. Where I live, it's kind of a pain to get to a dealer.
I accidentally turned mine on when I needed a light to eat a piece of chicken. Then realized I was no longer in a truck because the lights in the row bar. Duh!. Well since then it activated several times while I was trying to fix it, An operator comes on usually from a foreign country and asks...
Bandit’s Lair is right about something being lodged in the housing but I think it was just some excess plastic from the part mold or gasket material that causes it to latch and not release. I took a fine dental pic that's curved but is real strong and slid it into the opening on three sides...
Anyone having a problem with accidentally pushing the SOS button in the overhead and it remains depressed? Also it keeps calling the SOS emergency operator so is stuck in some kind of loop. I've tried the radio reset and also pulling the number 97 fuse. I'm hoping someone has figured out how to...
Just build your own using T slot material from places like TNUTZ or 80/20. You could make it as high as you want and it will accommodate heavy attachments. Its cheaper (~$800) than buying some of the ones made from sheet metal and is far stronger since it's all solid aluminum extrusion. I have...
Installed an awning from All Top. I like this one as it has the rip stop canvas and the poles seem to be sturdy enough. There are cheaper ones about $50, but they have the plastic 'canvas'. Well worth the extra money. Living in Arizona I don't need it much for the rain mostly for shade for a...
I considered that. Collectively they should work and the SS horz rods are inserted 1/2" so they aren't going anywhere. I look at it as a redundancy issue and the something else is going to break on the jeep before that does. After all, it is a Jeep!
Looked at molle racks but they can be expensive. Replacement grille grates fit perfectly in the 8mm slot, with a dab or black RTV to stop any rattling. 2 for $34. Working on a bed light off of the AUX4 switch.
Liked the idea of a delete seat setup but didn't want to take out the seat. Needed a flat interior surface for a PA and guitar to set on. The Cherokee works fine but didn't want them riding in the back of the Gladiator. So.... a compromise ensued by taking out the storage tray (barrier) and...
Done with the rack finally. Looked into molle boards but they can be expensive for what I needed. So Charbroil helped me out with some replacement grates that fit the Tslot channel perfectly. 7mm rod into an 8mm slot. 2 for $34. A dab of RTV keeps them from rattling. The whole rack is solid and...
Of course seatbelts are a must in any vehicle, but occasionally I drive without it connected when at low speed or around the farm. Connecting it behind me on a 2025 Gladiator?..............the buckle sticks into my back. I can strap or bungy it to the console or...........I bought one of these...
Pretty much finished with the rack. Came in about $900 but includes the center support (which isnt attached to anything and not necessary). Rack~80lbs, Thrule~40lbs. The main thing is that the MX4 cover works and the rack is solid! Ill add a fold down shelf and maybe molle racks, hooks, handles...
I use the Sterlite clear 64qt boxes with the latch under a tonneau cover. Clear so I can see whats inside and Sterlite because their cheap and waterproof (enough) and always locked under the cover, no ones gonna steal it for the box, like a Packout.
I read about them here on the forum, someone had a good experience with them. The website is terrific and selection of options and colors also great. I have a 2025 Willys in the '41 color and I thought I wanted to near match it for the seats. Well I picked green color #60 as it seemed to...
Well I ordered the parts from TNUTZ.com. I can size it exactly to the bed measurements so the trifold opens. I put in an extra vertical post set in the middle to install molle plates later. Since the ports are adjustable, off the shelf plates will work. The Thrule carrier will rest on top...
Im considering making my own..........Yea I know.........Any one that would work has to have the straight uprights, thats a given. Adarac Pro series will work per Real Truck where I got the MX4 from. Consider this for some feedback....Custom 3D printers use extruded aluminum like IXGNIJ sells on...
I have the Bakflip MX4 on a 2025 Willys. Great cover. Does anybody know what bed rack will work with it so I can still open the tonneau completely? I want to attach a Thule carrier to it.
