Just picked up a 2021 Overland (our Grand Cherokee was totaled last week) and looking for some recommendations on bed storage. Not really looking for anything fancy - just wondering if anyone has found some tubs/containers/etc. that fit really well in the bed, maybe waterproof and lockable?

Years ago we had a Ford Explorer Sport Trac and used some basic storage tubs with a bar across the bed to hold them in place - worked well enough for what we did.

I like Rigid brand tool boxes from Home Depot, they have weatherproof seals on the lids and can take a beating. Milwaukee is another option with their Packout series - the down side is people may try to take them because they think there are valuable tools inside, so I keep them under a tonneau cover.
They are also handy for things like you camp kitchen since they keep the dust off.

I use the Sterlite clear 64qt boxes with the latch under a tonneau cover. Clear so I can see whats inside and Sterlite because their cheap and waterproof (enough) and always locked under the cover, no ones gonna steal it for the box, like a Packout.

How about a tonneau cover to keep things in and out of sight? What do you use the truck for?

Yeah, I plan to get a cover as well. Just picked it up so it will mainly be used as a daily driver, house projects, towing our travel trailer, etc. It replaced a Grand Cherokee. Will probably never go off-roading lol.

Mine might be considered "fancy" But I wanted Sturdy, 100% Waterproof (Pelicn Storm Cases & SKB), Lockable & not "fancy looking".

I keep 2 in the JP, 100% of the time (the ones stacked directly behind the passenger seat) and add the others as needed. I run Safari style from April Fool's Day through Halloween. I get snow, rain, wind, etc.

!00% happy and not broken into yet.

Just strapped in a tote/crate today, from outdoorcrates (made by MTM Case-gard, Made in Ohio), water resistant latching lid (has a gasket), wheels on one side, inside dividers (removeable) and a tray. Also fits their OC4 crates (ACR4 if you go with the MTM colorway). I wanted something that would fit under my bed cover and between the wheel humps as much as possible.

**The picture with the crate open has the lid twisted because its hitting one of my trailrail anchor points

Those look like they’d mount to a fridge slide pretty easily. I’m getting horrible idea in my head. :CWL:
