I'd say this one is perfect. Dimensions between wheel wells is 44.5". Exterior dimensions have it where two can be positioned side by side if you jockey one 90° (26 + 18.5 = 44.5"). Height from top of my Bed Rug to the base of my OEM tonneau cover is 17".

REI has them on sale for $39.95/ea (compared to $54.99/ea on Home Depot). I've got some leftover dividend from last year, a 20% off coupon, and free shipping. I've got two of 'em heading my way for about $62 with tax.
Smart man!

The 24-gallon ActionPackers fit really well length, width and especially height maximizing the use of the bed without losing a lot of space (due to the container) and they're very cost effective.

Here you can see how they easily fit two wide, between the wheel wells, each one turned the other way...

Walmart shows them for even less - check your local store for inventory before going...

Crazy! I was just on Walmart’s site before I placed my order with REI and they were double the price. Oh well; I like REI and it’s not worth causing a fuss over the $10-ish saved.

Stoked to see how they fit in your truck, though. I’m on a similar train of holding the OEM cover and figuring out a rack for more gear above.

I’m pretty excited about these boxes I found today at Lowe’s for $54. They fit a bit snug, but they look like they were made for the Gladiator!

I’m reviving this thread since this topic is very top of mind for me. I’ve got a 3 week family road trip coming up which will include 2 weeks of hotels and one week of camping plus 2 or 3 days of wheeling. So we will be bring a ton of stuff which will only get used less then half the time. We also have no idea what the weather will be like, but we have to prepare for wet conditions.

We need a way to either safely secure everything in the bed during hotel stays or bring it all inside. Plus we can’t have it all bouncing around back there. I was initially think about a cheap soft tonneau cover, but I’m not sure if that’ll cause a height restriction for us. So that leaves removable bins.

I’m thinking 2 very large wheeled bins for camping and wheeling gear plus a soft-sided waterproof cover for luggage and other stuff. One added benefit may be that way permanently store this stuff in the bins when we get home and just load up whenever we want to do something like again in the future.

These bins look huge, seem sturdy and are stackable when stored at home. Dimensions suggest I can fit them within the wheel wells. As a bonus, they should strap down nicely in transit. The downsides I’m seeing is that they’ll be crazy heavy when filled and the handles don’t extend for dragging them around.

I don’t know one waterproof cargo bad from the next, but I imagine they’re mostly interchange. I’d just find one to fit the leftover space at the back of the bed.

At least that’s the plan for now...

I did a test fitting with the Packout system. Looks like it will work for me. I need to investigate why it’s not sitting perfectly flat but it’s not a big deal. I think I have room for a piece of horse trailer mat that will level it out and still fit comfortably under the Tyger. I’ll figure out a way to lock it all in there under the locked soft tonneau just to be sure. There are plenty of options for that.

What sizes do you go with to fit under your tonneau?

Home Depot husky totes are one of the best things I have purchased 30 bucks each for the biggest (3 different sizes) durable as shit. 100 percent waterproof. Fit under a bed cover are lockable and stackable for the price they cannot be beat. I have 10 that I used when I moved across the country. now I have at least one in my truck everyday exposed to the elements rain, snow, freezing rain literally everything. You can fit a total of 5 in the bed of the largest ones 10 if you stack obviously.

This is amazing! I went with two DeWalt toolboxes which is great for everyday.. but now I need more storage for a trip. Seems like you cannot go wrong with these.. you said you cn hold 5 or 10 if you double stack. Forgive me... but I see how you can fit 4 or 8... How did you for 5 or 10? I need to get these ASAP for my trip in a few days and it's about 1.5 hours to go get them so I just want to be sure! thanks!

I put a DeeZee tool box in the bed. It measures 39" x 12.5" x 12". I keep some rigging gear, jumper cables, and accessories for the Hi-Lift jack in it. Still have room for other stuff.

I've had really great luck with the action packers, both sizes. They are just about waterproof, super light, super cheap and US made.

I sent you a private message man hope it helps but for anyone else wondering how I fit 10 I took a quick shot with 2 in my bed this morning showing the placement of how to fit 5 on the bottom row.

2 between the wheel wells which still leaves actually some space between them or on the edge to work with.

The another row of 3. I put two at the end of the bed so you can see the space for a 3rd. It's a little tight but work perfect it's even less tight if you don't have the trail rail system like me.

This has been top of.mind for us. After several camping trips, we have decided our wolf packs.or tote boxes will not work especially if we are doing one night of camping or changing our campgrounds often especially since we enjoy dispersed camping.
So I am going to think about storage with cargo slides so I don't have to be climbing up and down the gladiator and feel like a gym workout every time..😀

I may be overstepping my bounds since they have not yet given me my complimentary boxes for test fitting them in my Gladiator a few months ago but Tuffy has been developing a set of storage boxes for the gladiator bed. Im going to refrain from posting pictures so that I dont piss them off. They may not be what most of you are after for camping etc but they offer some good lockable utility storage while still leaving cargo space in the bed. Hopefully they get them up on their site soon.

Plano 108 Qt Sportsman Trunk. One box fits nicely across the front of the bed for semi-permanent carry like recovery gear. There is a removable lid wheeled model which is too much hassle in that bed location, and a hinged model which is great. I bought at Home Depot, one was $25, one was $35, depends on the color I guess. You can stand on it. I added rubber adhesive strips for added weatherproofing. This is not the best box in the world, but it’s a nice fit and decent for the money.
