Yeah, they have their own geo brackets. A bit pricier than some other brands, but quality brackets that are use welded construction...some use a two piece design.
Worth a shot. Especially since you loosened up on side and not the other. The rubber bushings don’t move freely like some aftermarket arms and can bind up, cashing problems and premature wear. One of the reasons you wait to retorque them until it’s back on the ground at right height/ under load...
Adjustable front track bar and geometry correction brackets, which are meant to be used with stock length lower control arms....so you don’t need longer or adj LCAs.
I would not go with the Mopar longer LCAs. I have the AEV kit on my sport s with the longer Mopar arms. They are cheap..yes, but...
I have the same lift. If properly installed, there is nothing in a spacer lift to cause any variances. 2” is 2”. Are you sure your coils are clocked right and that the alignment pins on the spacers are correctly inserted into the coil buckets? Did you loosen the control arms prior to install...
Other thing is, when using a level on your hood - the “level” may be effected by a lot of factors From your hood thru the truck and down to the ground, which may not be exactly level. I would say that amount of variance is a non issue
It’s perfectly normal to have some slight differences.
it has nothing to do with the lift, unless maybe you didn’t clock the springs into the right positions or failed to install the spacers correct with the alignment posts thru the upper coil bucket.
I would go painted fenders. I have had too many Jeeps with the dulled out black flares that always end up looking like shit.
Color wise....Sarge or Gobi. Both great colors IMO.
I went Sarge Green (with painted fenders)and love the color. I currently have a black hardtop, but it would look...
Jscan tells you to actually measure your tires - mounted on the vehicle and under load. Dont use advertised tire size of manufacturer dimensions. Go out to your truck with a level and a tape measure. Place the level on top of your tire and take the measurement when you have a level reading
I used a razor to clean gently clean out the bigger stuff, so I could see the start of the threads and then used an m6x1.0 thread chaser from amazon to clean them out. Super simple, worked great.
Looks good. Definitely interested in what you mean about closing the tonneau with the part of the brackets still on. Can you take a few pics of that when u get a chance?
I learned a lot about Jeeps by working on XJs. Mostly how to problem solve and use an angle grinder to its full potential lol. Had several over the years. Loved them all and regretted selling each one. Who knows, I might pick up another one someday.
Same. I have a soft spot for xj's and know the work that goes into building/maintaining them. More respect for xj owners than alot of newer wrangler/gladiator drivers
Years ago, Jeeps were very basic / minimalist vehicles that a lot of people built up and maintained on their own....it took work. If you passed another Jeep (especially a lifted one), there was a very good chance that the driver was the person actually working on and maintaining that Jeep. They...
You talk like guys buy Rubicons or Mojave’s and just them stock. Most guys are replacing those bigger tires and suspensions the second they take delivery. The amount of take off Rubicon and mojave wheels and suspensions for sale out there is insane. I would rather pay once for the exact setup I...
My 22 has body colored flares and I do not have the LED package. Not sure what you are talking about when you say you can’t get em without adding leds...
Also, you are not making an apples to apples comparison by saying that by the time you add the 8.4 and all the other options...the point is...
