I have my compressor behind the front driverside fender. Lines are ran along my Motobilt Skid plates to the back. The lines though are far from difficult. Just like running wires except cant bend quite as tight.
While this is true when it comes to aftermarket jeep wheels a +10 offset is actually more tucked then most. There are a couple that are +25, but the vast majority are 0 or well into the negative's.
@Gremlinsteve Those wheels arent going to be bad for what your looking for, but if you really...
Its worth it if your going to keep the extra stuff.. Knowing that everything extra from a Willy's would already be long gone from mine I wouldnt bother.
Yea I got a bunch wrapped up into it. And at any given time I’ve normally got something in the mail in the way to be installed and something else sitting in my garage and a gamelan for the next few thousand spent
Do any of these over paying cash offer places as more for aftermarket? After having my jt for a year I think I’d be better off in a JLURD for my usage. I underpaid for my truck by a lot so I could totally afford to take some hit in the aftermarket stuff I have added. But definitely don’t wanna...
Today was an easy one. Installed the CavFab skid plate. I feel like the asthetics look better with my ace bumper then the ace skid plate does. Was cheaper too. Had to paint it myself, but that was no biggie.. Its going to get scratched to hell regardless and it hangs under the truck where being...
Cant sight the source, but I read a while back that the accident rate in a manual was like 20% of that in an auto. So my kid's car is a little 5 speed. Only time I dont see her messing with her phone is while she is driving it.
Check out the 2nd image here.. This shows a little of how much taller the Clayton springs are compared to the MetalCloak.

Never saw this thread before the necro.. But its quite informative. I have been fishing wires across after pulling the 10mm's & lifting. And I have to get back in there due to a failed seat heater switch that I am going to have to pull & replace.
Bigger & more materials for sure. Especially in the case of the moto with the wrap around bed protection. But front bumpers that use as much material as a beefy rear are still cheaper (within the same brand). Manufactures gotta get their money back for the development & the tooling setup. In a...
Indeed.. Part of that is supply & demand.. More companies make the front since they have been around for much longer. Most JK fronts work (pretty much all do with minor tooling) so there has been lots of them around for a long time. The JL helped adding to that. The rear's on the other hand we...
You do you boo.. But if ya do send me your address... I'm going to send you a silver sharpie to write my name on the inside of it so in a few years when you forget all about this you pull it off & your reminded of me..
Dont get me wrong. That is a very very good looking set of bumpers. You...
Well let me convince you to save your money.. That rear bumper provides less protection then the Mopar steel rear with sliders. The front with its high winch mount does a fairly good job at blocking airflow to our engines & that lack of airflow is one of the biggest issues we have with heat...
Really 2700 isnt that bad. Front bumpers arent that bad, but between the 2 leading rear bumpers in my shopping list are 1700 shipped (JCR) & 1700 for pickup (red summit) both prices including powder coat. So for the cost of 2700 for the pair its really about 1k for the front. My current front...
Hah.. Wish my kid was afraid to ask. Mines 14 & driving with her permit right now (she gets her full fledged license in August at 15 here in Idaho). She asked to drive or hints that she should be driving my JT about once every other day. She's driven road trips in both of her mothers vehicle's &...
