Just received and made me laugh out loud.. this is a cavfab skid plate. Haven’t opened the box yet, but based on weight there is nothing fragile in there.
Just received my panel. Gotta say the presentation and packaging are fantastic. If the product lives up to the packaging then this thing will be a winner
I am not sure what model MC uses to base their lift on.. But they do use the front. So if they use a Rubi then they are talking 3.5" higher at the front then a stock rubicon.. Your Mojave if its springs are 2" taller to begin with then you would only gain 1.5".. I dont believe its 2" taller...
Oh I understand that... They just are big & bulky & above a bumper would seem really big & bulky.
I get trying to keep them though. I just cant imagine a way of putting them on top of the factory bumper without them seeming out of place with the depth. Also a very niche use case. Most people...
Sometimes checking the manufacturers store as well works. Some stuff you can just order direct & cut out the middle man. I find that you end up paying a few more bucks on shipping normally, but tends to be a tad faster.
The epitome of "Florida Man" in jeep form.
On a serious note... Why hundreds of hours of fab work & a stock rear bumper. Not even painted to match. Its like they ran outa money just before that.
That sounds just like what I went through a couple weeks ago from 4wd.com.. Took them 10 days to tell me the seat covers I wanted were backordered. Then I had to spend over an hour on the phone to get to a live person to cancel my order. Ordered the seat covers from Northridge (after calling to...
To be honest I think thats a bad idea. The factory fog's even the LED's are going to be pretty easily upstaged by the aftermarket. For the cost & the extra bulk of anything on top of the bumper to hold the OEM Fog's I would think that much smaller & more effective aftermarket lights would make...
Oh just listed means I’m definitely not blind. They look great and I’ll definitely be seeing what I can do to swap to them once they are available.
I literally installed the Oculus last week.. Really wanted switchback feature & I hadn't come across anything I want & now I see this..

I thought I was blind & missed it, but now I realize that they...
one thing that could potentially work is magnets. all the way down both sides and across the front and center. then a limited amount of straps just to hold tension. But yeah I’m interested in seeing what’s up. They do good work and I like supporting local and sporting small businesses.. given...
Guess I’ll have to wait and see what they do. I can’t imagine an attachment method without straps that doesn’t require some sort of heavy modification. For the jl top linked it makes sense since there is already a track there. But we don’t have anything like that in the jt’s
For 35's on a Max Tow you don't have to do much. I ran them with Rubicon take off front springs, the Rubicon shocks all around & a Daystar 3/4" front spacer (40 bucks on amazon). Had a nice leveled appearance. Nothing else needs to be swapped out so in the driveway you can do it all in about an...
