I have never seen OEM wheels/Tires sell for that.. Hell I see them sit for months if they are 500.
Your right about it being cheaper then new tires, but 1200 isnt cheaper then the stock tires.
I did this upgrade on my Max Tow.. Only parts you should change are the shocks all around & just the front springs. The max tow rear springs are already better then Rubicon rear springs. You can also add the Daystar 3/4" front spacers which are about 40 bucks on Amazon and end up with an almost...
Welp its been a hot minute, but I finally pulled the trigger on tires. Went with the 28 ridge grapplers because all other options are not available at this point. Almost pulled the trigger a few days ago on 39" ko2's but decided to sleep on it & they were sold out in the AM.
Man if my JT was totaled I would hands down be looking at a JLU if I was doing another new one.. It would be a very lightly optioned sport & then start the build over again fixing the stuff I know I would do differently in my current build. I am not that lucky though.. I could build up a hell of...
Just putting this here first.. I am going from my true beadlock rings back to standard mounting. Switching from MT's to AT's as work has changed & I haven't been wheeling in months now. So if anyone has used the used rash guard rings & want to trade for used beadlock rings reach out. Not trying...
Clayton is by far the tallest of them. Check out this old thread https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/lost-trail-w-hicentered-gladiator-sport-rubicon.33600/ I posted pictures rear to rear with the Clayton 2.5 (on 35's) & the Metal Cloak 3.5 (on 37's). It wasnt even close how much...
I would say its totally worth it... Not perfect. I have still felt myself struggling to turn the wheels on some obstacles, but the amount of time I notice it is down to a small percentage of what it was. I also have mine adjusted to the minimum of the green zone. So I could get more power out of...
Yea the Falcon's are MUCH softer on the softest setting then the Fox shocks are. The falcon's have been quite good on washboard when I get out to adjust them. If it ever becomes available I may get the 3.5 eadjust upgrade for them so that I never have to manually adjust again too.
I went from the Fox 2.0's to the Falcon SP2 3.3's... They are not an apples to apples shock... The Falcon is adjustable. So if its too stiff it takes less then a minute to adjust them & soften them up. The Fox's you get what you get which I did not find stiff enough on road (specifically...
I did a ton of research before I did mine.. I did the Oracle Oculus, but the next runner up was the Kiwi Master 9" lights from amazon. The JL forum has lots of reviews. At 230 bucks they are probably a better value for the money spent compared to the oracle's. To do again now though the oracles...
I have a tow strap under the rear seat all the time.. If I am actually going off-roading or to help on a recovery I also have a Factor 55 kinetic energy rope.
No its the +25mm offset wheels that keep me narrow. They are about an inch farther into the wheel wells on each side then 0 offset would be. Comparing what I have now to 13.50 tires on the -6mm offset of the Icon Rebound Pro's I am about 3.5" narrower now. I also have quite narrow fenders, but...
I very seriously doubt milestar does anything.. And honestly I wouldnt expect them to.. Its not like these have been babied, they just arent holding up.
I was leaning heavily towards the Geolandar's & stepping up to a 40" tire & then the obvious solution hit me. When I did these I only did 4...
