I've snooped at the Bakflip system, looks slick, but didn't want to spend that much at this point.
I just put an Access Literider on and might make my own custom brackets to work with the tonneau cover and then attach some Yakima t-slot rails or something. Same rail concept as the Bakflip...
Got three Rubicon fenders installed this weekend!
Now just gotta figure out what to do for some low profile bed rails to mount the RTT come springtime... ? Oh and maybe some mud flaps.
Looks great!
Although, I think you should replace that factory front bumper with something else and then pass your stock bumper along to a nice neighbor over in Minnesota who's name rhymes with TwirlGuts.
Our deal really fell into place. Black Friday pricing on top of November Rebates. Someone custom ordered one and then changed their mind on seat color so there was an extra custom order coming in which was exactly what we wanted. There's a lot more to the story, but we feel like the dealer...
Good price for a base Rubicon. I felt like I got the best bang for my buck with a Max Tow. I got a 2021 Sport S, Max Tow, Power Windows/Locks, Cold Weather Group, 8.4" Screen, Alpine Radio, Hard Top, and All Weather floormats for $38,500.
I had a JKU and then a JKUR before and found out the...
I'm liking them so far! I had ST Maxx on my JKU and really liked them. Didn't want to go quite that aggressive on the JT. This is the first time I've gone with a 12.5" wide tire though; you can sure tell they float more on snow than my previous pizza cutters.
I was - but just worked out a deal at the dealership. My Sting Grey Sport S with Max Tow package came with ONE Rubicon fender installed. LOL. They were going to replace it with a proper Max Tow fender... but I said let's work something out where I can get get 3 more Rubicon Fenders. ;)
Did you need to use hubrings on those wheels? I almost ordered a set of Raceline wheels a couple weeks ago, but the hub bore was larger and would have needed to run a hub ring.
That's me! I've had a JKU for the last 5 years, and oogled at the JT's when they were announced. Then saw the price when they were released and said... well... guess I won't be getting one of those for about 5 years when used prices are more reasonable.
Fast forward to July 2020... noticed...
I went with the Literider! Really like it so far. Did the seal across the entire bulkhead as mentioned above. Personally, I think these "inside the rail" covers look much nicer than those that extend out overtop the bedrails.
Also, did their tailgate seal kit. There are some weird corners...
35" Cooper AT3 XLT - 315/70r17 ? (Although at 35psi, measure 33.5"... ??)
3 more Rubicon fenders should arrive by the end of next week to add some clearance for future flexy time.
